First of all, I would not recommend this trip in March or April. We went there in early April, and it was blistering hot. First day we were transferred to the park, and started with a nice boat ride, which unfortunately had to be cut short, since the water level was too low thanks to the new dam they built.... More

I recently enjoyed a ten day tour of Luang Prabang, Phonsavan( and the Plain of Jars),Vang Vieng and Ventiane customized for me by this company. My schedule did not allow me to join a group tour. Green Discovery canvassed my interests and was able to create a private tour for me that catered to my interests. The accommodation was fine... More

We did the 2 Day Phou Khao Khouay Challenge at a cost of $197 per person for 3 people in our group. Keep in mind as you read this review that this rate is more than twice what we paid for any other of the 7 treks we did in Vietnam, Laos and Cambodia over the last 3 months (including... More

A little bit expensive but very well organised and extremely friendly staff. Booked a one day trip to phou khao khouay national park. Roughly 2 hour drive from Vientiane to get there, start with an interesting boat trip along the river and then trekking through the jungle. Stopped after about 90 minutes for an excellent picnic lunch, including freshly brewed... More

Booked our trip in Laos with Green Discovery, because we didnt have much time to prepare beforehand. No complaints, but highly overpriced for what you get. Especially when you are on the ground and see what the real costs are, then you feel the pinch.

I went for a one day bicycling your with Green Discovery tour on 12/24/15. The guide was an hour late picking the group up. We were told to select bikes at one shop, but 10 mins later were told there were already bikes in another location for us. The guide barely spoke English, and could not explain any of the... More

This was the first 2 days of the ‘6 days of adventure in Vientiane and Champassak province’ Great tour guides and management in general, however there is a big issue with the biking equipment – either broken, old or just very run down. We had 4 bikes of which 2 did not work correctly (even the tour guides!) and the... More

We used Green Discovery to book our transport back to Bangkok. Quick and easy, no fuss and the staff spoke excellent English. My only criticism would be the tuktuk ride to the railway station. The driver stopped several times apart from pickups; once to get a banana and make a phone call!! Then by the park to take a nap!!... More

We booked the Pak Ou boat trip. We were picked up by boat as our hotel is situated on the river. As we were peacefully navigating the Mekong river our guide told us everything about Mekong life in Laos. We visited several villages were we saw how paper, 'whisky' and silk scarfs were made. After a short lunch (good food)... More
