A very worthwhile visit that details the secret war that the USA waged from 30 000 feet on civilians and the mess that still requires mega dollars,to clean up.

After visiting the place for couple of time, I cannot still grasp why so much little has been done to remove the bombs. COPE can demonstrate what a huge number of Lao people have suffered the bombs. A lot of people have lost their live...More

This place received probably the highest rating on tripadvisor I had ever came across. So I went with high expectation and putting this place as the must-do on my itinerary. If you stay somewhere near the city centre, you can walk although going by transport...More

Although it is a little off the beaten track, particularly if you are touring the city on a bike this visitor centre is well worth a visit. It is both interesting and very informative. The film in the cinema is worth a view if you...More

From the information on the walls in this pleasant airconditioned display centre it seems there are multiple international donors that are contributing to the elimination of unexplored ordinance. The presentations are so mater of fact. Very interesting, but none of the spite and intensity present...More

Very interesting "museum". It is both very scary and fascinating that a major exhibiting in the capital of Laos deals with lost limbs, replacements and the other big problems left over from the Vietnam war. Very educational. Recommended!

Tragic circumstances which are explained well by the centre exhibits. A reflection and affirmation of the resilience of the Lao people. I hope the unexploded ordnance can be cleared one day. Please visit and donate.
