Recently opened, this mosque is based on the Hagia Sofia in Istanbul - only it looks better. We couldn't go inside as it was prayer time, so hope the inside is as good as the outside

I would not say the mosque is located centrally and but not too far from it. It is located in a residential area but is easy enough to find as it takes up a large space and is hard to miss. A very impressive interior...More

Do go to see this mosque and people watch among the faithful who gather here. It is a fabulous place to watch the world go by and should not be missed.

This mosque is located on Gogol street in Bishkek. Average size with large compound. Easy access from the main road.

I have walked by the mosque a few times and I hear the call to pray. It's interesting and many people go to the mosque. For tourists I think there is nothing to see.

Although we visited many mosques on our trip, this one seemed very special. It may have been the atmosphere surrounding it or maybe the people we met during our visit. We enjoyed tremendously.
