This local market has hidden treasures with local price. The challenge is getting around the place, it’s not organised and it’s easy to get lost.
Other than that, if you have time to go around and don’t mind crowded places, you can find many interesting things.

Avoid this market , specialy the motorbike muggers . Aggressive and violent . You like to be scammed go this market ! no friendly people at all !

Orussey Market is great my mom selling like battery and wire.And I visit Orussey Market for all did I remember.And more someone uploaded a photo with my mom sitting wear green shirt.

My visits to Orussey Market, Phnom Penh
Sandwiched between streets 182-141-166 and 111, this is my favourite large covered market in Phnom Penh. Not really a touristy place but excellent to visit if you want to experience the comings and goings of a traditional Khmer market.
It can get quite hot as you traverse the myriad passageways and the aroma of spices, dried fish, live fish squirming in a bowl awaiting someone’s dinner plate, dead pigs, live ducks and chickens, can certainly challenge your nostrils as you try to find your bearings. You could quite easily spend two or three hours here exploring all the floors but be wary of the many workers pushing sack barrows, delivering goods to the traders and out to purchasers ‘vehicles parked in the chaotic surrounding streets.
This is where locals purchase in bulk from a vast array of products including food, hardware, kitchenware, bedding, toys, fruit, vegetables, electronics, bracelets, lipsticks and ducks sold by the kilo. Unless you are buying in bulk, bargaining is not really too common here, but a good knowledge of Khmer might facilitate some discounting.
Not too many speak anything other than Khmer so have a pencil and paper at the ready for a quick drawing of what you need, better still, pull up an image on your smart phone. Be patient and you will find most people helpful and quite charming.
There are places to eat in Orussey but if you prefer western fare, a twenty-minute walk heading north-east will take you to the Sorya Center Point Shopping Mall.

The locals shop in bulk here. Almost no bargaining with the dried seafood we bought. As a matter of fact, not much bargaining here with the plates and bowls that I bought either. Pricey dried shrimp cost $45 a kilo. Fruit like grapes and apples seemed pricey too. Hot in here. Electricity went out 2x when we came. Passage ways are narrow. This is a food market mostly for locals and vendors. Won’t find many souvenirs here.

Really good for getting spices like black pepper,white pepper, red pepper, red chilli powder
It's a local market rarely frequented by tourist.
Tea leaves like Jasmine green tea, lemon tea Ginger tea and cashewnuts at genuine rates. you can also buy fruits from here. Thrift buying of clothes as well.

One of the busiest and crowded market here. You can find literally everything here! Clothes? Bag? Shoes? Manicure? Pedicure? Hair? Stationary? Blanket? Stuffed toys? Bedsheet? And the list go on! They even have wet market here, if you wanna have a sneak peek of the local daily life, this is definitely the place. If you’re looking for souvenirs, I would suggest you to go to Russian Market or Central Market.

One of the worst “big markets” in town and worth a stop only if you’re intent on experiencing a true local market. There are no souvenirs here. It’s food, clothing, homeware etc etc etc. There’s actually very little of interest at all. The surrounding streets are jam-packed with vendors and traffic, making this whole area a bit of a nightmare. You’re far better off at Russian Market and/or Central Market. Best avoided.

Orussey market is a giant market mostly indoors - but beware - there isn't air con or fans so the place can get very hot and stuffy. This market is where many people and businesses from all over Cambodia come to buy wholesale or in bulk. They have EVERYTHING here: food items, condiments, kitchen equipment, clothes, toys, car and moto parts, etc. They literally have everything you could dream of that the locals may need - but not much in the way of tourist trinkets and t-shirts - try Central Market for souvenirs. The place gets very crowded so I recommend going early in the morning before the crowds and before it gets so hot.
The market is roughly broken up into sections: kitchen equipment, hardware, vehicle parts area, toys, clothes, etc. It is roughly broken into two halves and there is an area in the middle where they serve food at small stalls. The food is fresh, decent and very cheap.
Bargaining is expected here. As a foreigner the prices will start higher than normal - so simply haggle with the shop keepers. If you don't like the price after haggling then try another shop - many have the same or similar items for sale.
The aisles are very narrow and often you will have to push against a wall or stall while somebody tries to squeeze through with many boxes of items. The place is definitely an experience and walk around to the food area as they display all types of dried goods, dried fish and other Cambodian delicacies.

Bonjour j'y suis aller y'a beaucoup de nourriture du pays j'en mange souvent et j'en suis pas tombé malade parce que soit disant y'a des intoxications se n'est pas vrai. Il y a aussi beaucoup de vêtements de contre façon mais bon c'est leur choix de vendre sa mais y'a aussi plein de vêtements pour les petits avec des personnes de dessins animés et des vêtements du type style coréen. Il y a aussi des objets de souvenirs enfaite les gens ne trouve pas les objets de souvenirs parce le marché et grand et enfaite il y a des zone pour chaque chose
