This stadium has never hosted an Olympic event, but is named after the Olympics. Rather small compared to modern day stadiums. Used lots by locals for exercise classes and track.

Its like any ordinary stadium. I just selected it as a landmark for my city explorations and it worked pretty well. Many roads come together at the stadium and it can be seen at some distance.

Or a run. In the inner city. Olympic only in name. But nice big stadium. Large lighting system. Good for a run or a walk around the track.

I used to go there for free but that was few years back..... Really suprised that someone would be requested money simply to use the running track...worth double checking this.
