Nice and interesting museum housed in a beautiful Cambodian architecture. It has a large display of preKhmer civilizations, but the most emphasized and interesting part is the Khmer period. Beautiful gardens in the middle to relax.

The museum contains interesting objects but the display is quite approximative and there is not a lot of explication of the history of Cambodia.

I did not spend enough time at this museum. You would need at least 2 hours or more to fully appreciate the exhibitions and history laid out here. An excellent audio tour is available for a small cost and highly recommended. Huge amount of artefacts some dating back to the 9th Century and earlier are beautifully presented in a number... More

Interesting artifacts and art. If you like to look at everything in detail, you will need a couple of hours. As it was a National holiday there were no guides available but the audio guide was sufficient and you can choose what you'd like to listen to from their selection.

A museum of the interesting history of Cambodia, takes about 1hr to tour on your own, with a informative audio head set available, which helps with explanation of its artifacts

This was a very cool place to see! Not physically though since it is an open air museum. Even in April it was pretty hot. Get the audio tour headphones. They are well worth it. We went through the whole place but could have gone back and spent days.

Great museum housing lots of interesting history about Cambodia. Exhibits are in English and Khmer (and I think French too, if I'm remembering correctly). Has indoor and outdoor components.

Start by turning left on entry and work your way back to the start. I particularly liked all the female statues but there's a lot more than this.

Some wonderful modern art and older artefacts. Was $5 per person to enter. Isn't a must see attraction - I'd recommend the Royal Palace if you had to choose between the two. The actual building is beautiful.

This is a museum where there a lot of Hindu/Buddhism mythological articrafts which were retrieveied in the country. People who have a keen interest in Mythology and Hinduism will like it. There are guides in the museum but difficult to understand due to their accent. One of the sites you will be taken if you take a city tour.
