I bumped into Peter while wandering around Phnom Penh on foot. He was friendly and had a book of recommendations from customers so I decided to take a day trip with him the following day to Silk Island. He was a fantastic guide and driver - very informative, considerate and funny. His English was great which makes a huge difference... More

I had traveled with a few day-tour agencies in Phnom Penh and Siem Reap just last week and Grasshopper Adventures stood out for me. The staff were professional, carried themselves very well and looked after the group with genuine care, whether they were guides or mechanics. From the onset of planning, Lyna went beyond her duty to assist me with... More

We hire a wonderful driver for $40.00 a day which I would strongly encourage. Phnom Penh has about the worst traffic I've ever seen. You really don't need a guide for the Killing Fields the Audio Guide is very informative. Our family hired a translator $30.00 for the day who lived through Poi Pot regime. It was sad to hear... You cannot visit the Kingdom of Cambodia without seeing this sad part of their history. There is audio available which guides you around orvif you have private guide they will explain. Some upsetting photo of the horrors of war and people cruelty. Our private guide gave us his own personally experience of life under Pol Pot. The central memorial has... More
