The Curzon Hall is a British period building and now it is the home of the Faculty of Sciences at Dhaka University. The building used to be a town hall and is named after Lord Curzon. Upon the establishment of Dhaka University in 1921, it became the base of the university's science faculty.

This University of Dhaka hall is quite splendid. The architecture is from bygone years. You can't go inside so you really only get a quick look of the exterior.

Impressive building now the University... Great to pick up the atmosphere of the students some of whom seemed to have just passed exams as they were celebrating. Can't get into the building so just a wander around the grounds and through the cloisters.
Worth a detour and spend half an hour or so here.

I really loved the architectural design of Curzon Hall. It had such a unique charm and flair about it. There were so many students studying on the lawn, and the place was just full of life!

These beautiful buildings are a fine example of British colonial style architecture. Just a pleasure to see all students actually living in those buildings and studying there. Good selfie spot.
