During our last day in Baku, we were running out of stuff to do, so we visited this carpet museum, not knowing what to expect. Very informative and not a bad way to kill an hour or two.

The museum has 3 floors with carpets from old to new designs. Very well organized and with good explanation. If you are into the carpets, then it is a good place to be. Just to admire and wish you would have one for yourself :-)

The carpet map of carpets is particularly curious! The museum is also an interesting design, and a great space. Well worth a short... More

If you are interested in art and carpet, it's a good museum to visit. Most of carpets in this museum are from Iran, thought. It's a good place to visit.

The history of each area's fabrics and carpets in fascinating and beautifully displayed. It is an over-dose of carpets, but you'll be glad you visited. Also, the gift... More
