I crossed this bridge several times during my visit of Yerevan. To visit attractions outside of the city such as Genocide Museum, Ararat Brewery, Tours of Garni, other tourist areas, airport, I had to cross this bridge. Of course, I had to cross it again to return to my hotel.

Always very busy here, with lots of vehicular traffic.

We went over this bridge when we entered Yerevan. We also went both to and from Genocide museum. You come here on the way to somewhere, you don’t come here only for the purpose to see the bridge. It’s a busy bridge with heavy traffic for Yerevan people. Maybe this place is nicer to see from distance.

The bridge itself is a fine, but not exceptional conventional bridge (leading Adm Isakov Ave, NOT Mashtots Ave, as claimed). The views from the bridge are make the walk worth it, especially if one's on the way to/from Ararat or NOY distilleries. The left hand pavement, coming from town, offers a fine view of Mt Ararat, unobscured by traffic if the mountain decides to make an appearance.. The right hand pavement opens a good view of the Hrazdan Gorge, and the old bridge (closed for vehicular traffic but possible to walk across; I believe that the picture oVictory Bridge is taken from there).
Continuing to the Ararat factory from the right pavement is simple: there's a pedestrian crossing. From the left hand pavement, one has to proceed some 50 m to an underground crossing. Walking across Adm Isakov at the junction is possible- but not for the faint-hearted

This bridge was built after the WWII. Interesting that it was built mostly by German prisoners of war.

It was beautiful viewing the Victory bridge facing ararat winery while standing in front of St. Sarghis church. Looks relaxing. The bridge is just a bridge but the moment you just sit down and relax....the bridge becomes a better view.

This review is quite late. I passed by this bridge on my first day in Yerevan while coming from the airport to the City. It is a very busy bridge since all motorists will surely drive over here everyday.

This place is not a regular attraction, but a bridge over the river Hrazdan, in the heart of Yerevan. The bridge is called Victory, as the constructors were POWs of WW2. You can take a walk over the bridge from Yerevan Wine factory to "Ararat" brandy factory.

I seldom understand how a bridge, especially one very busy with vehicular traffic, can be considered a tourist attraction. This bridge, between the large brandy factories in downtown Yerevan, is very near the US Embassy. You risk your life if you try to examine this bridge close-up on foot, because the Armenian drivers are merciless.

Victory Bridge, also known as Haghtanak Bridge is one of Yerevan's oldest still-functioning bridges, opened in 1945. It is located in a very prominent location and essentially all traffic entering downtown Yerevan from the west must cross Victory Bridge. On the west end of the bridge is the Ararat Brandy Company and on the east end is the Nor Brandy Factory. You can get a commanding view of Victory Bridge from Saint Sarkis Cathedral.

Victory Bridge has wide pedestrian sidewalks on both sides, however it's not a particularly pleasant walk since there is a LOT of traffic on the bridge at pretty much all times of day. The very large intersections at either end of the bridge are quite dangerous and most days have police officers directing traffic since it can be chaotic.

Interestingly there is some information online about a development company that wants to bulldoze the gas station on the northwestern end and build a modern high-rise multi-use building there. If they could actually pull it off, that would be a very nice addition to the area and would probably help make Tairov Street safer and might facilitate some nicer pedestrian infrastructure. But as of March 2015 there doesn't appear to be any actual real-world interest in the project. My understanding is the city also will eventually extend the new Monte Melkonian highway south eastward over the Hrazdan River, providing a newer and more accessible vehicular river crossing to the south, which I assume would alleviate some of the traffic from Victory Bridge. That would be nice!
