Museum was small (only has 1 level). It is located in an unassuming building hence the entrance was not that obvious. Ticket cost 1500 AMD each.

This museum exhibits works by various Armenian artists. It was intersting to see the different painting styles and medium of artwork. I do wish they wrote down the art mediums used in the exhibit description.

Photography is allowed but not videography.
I understand the staff wanted to make sure we comply to the rule but it can get uncomfortable to have them following us around sometimes especially since the museum is small (so minus 1 point for that)

I visit this museum yesterday on my last day in Yerevan and loved it! It is rather small and it is more of a gallery than museum to me, as there are maybe 5 rooms that get one into another, but interesting paintings and sculptures! Entrance is 1500 amd. The museum itself is a bit hard to find as you would expect a building specific for a museum. This one is different and the entrance looks like an entrance of a rundown shop.

It is not very visible from the main road. Ticket is 500 AMD (not sure if it’s more expensive for non locals) … huge collection of various style artwork from paintings to sculptures … It is not very small and one would need minimum 45 minutes to be able to enjoy all that is showcased. The only downside was the unprofessional loud noise the staff at the reception were making which could be easily heard few halls from there !

An excellent museum, not very big, one floor, with many pictures, some sculptures and a few other works. All of high quality, well exhibited. A very fine experience, well worth a visit. 500 AMD for adults plus 500 for permission to take photos. Combined it amounts to 2 US dollars.

Not a huge museum, but outstanding quality. 500 dram (~€1) entry, and a further 500 to takes photos. A good mix of Armenian modern art and sculptures. Takes about 30 minutes to look round. All at ground floor level in one extended room. Only fault was the lighting of art pieces could be improved

I was enthralled during my visit to this gem of a museum. The works range stylistically from the abstract to the more representational. It's a manageable collection - 90 minutes should take you through it. But I don't think I've been to a museum with such a high percentage of works that were moving, funny, or simply beautiful. After I finished, I revisited all my favorites on the way out, and expressed my gratitude with a contribution. Oh and it costs about $1USD, or $2USD if you want to take pictures (I took many!). There is a strong heartbeat and a deep soul in the nation that produced these works. Don't miss it!

Good variety of great Armenian artists. I'm usually not a fan of Modern Art, but a lot of these works appealed to me. There is another exhibit hall across the alley in front of this museum and don't miss Eduard Isabekyan Gallery across Saryan street.
