The biggest church in Yerevan is in the city center. Modern architecture, which includes the principles of religious architecture, is limited in photography inside a religious place and causes discomfort to the local people. The sound of prayer is gentle and diligent, you want to sit there and pray for hours.

Very modern and architecturally beautiful cathedral on the outskirts of the city.

It is grand and bold in it's design, but something that is a must see for a visitor to the city.

A very calm and uplifting place on a very hot, muggy and smoggy day. It was definitely worth a visit and we were happy to have done so.

Gorgeous large church. You will find the Armenian churches are very plain and simple because they don’t believe in the icons or idolatry that the other churches do. The only thing that is so disappointing as they don’t keep up the surrounding grounds of this beautiful church.

Big new cathedral located in a very nice area with a park. It was also interesting to go inside and take a quick look. A nice setting for photos. There is not much to say about it.

There is really nothing special about this particular church. Its a pretty big bland building built in 2001. There is no history there and the staff follow you around yelling no pictures. I was nearby and thought maybe the inside would be more decorated but it was as equally bland. It looks like they got someone who designs shopping malls to design this church.

We did not know that Armenia celebrates Christmas on the 6th of January and it was a pleasant surprise to visit Yerevan during that period.
We visited St. Gregory's church on Christmas Eve and the chorus sang wonderful psalms. A nice, modern Armenian religious building.

Grand, quite, authentic place. The area surrounding the temple looks like it really needing to be more upkept.
