18 hours in a sterile area

I am now at the airport in a sterile area! I have a very long connection; I arrived at 4 am and departed at 11 pm. I'm shocked! I wasn't allowed into the business lounge! I wanted to have breakfast immediately after my arrival, I wanted to use LoungeKey, I was not allowed to stay for 3 hours, they said that I had to pay or write off all my free passes before 23.00. I don't think this is a competent proposal. Interestingly, LoungeKey knows that I, the owner of the corresponding master card, cannot even take advantage of their offer. In my opinion, it’s up to me to decide whether or not to extend it for another 3 hours. It gets even more interesting! My husband, being in another country, paid me for 3 hours of stay in the business lounge through the airport website. I was also not allowed to use it, because I then had to pay before 23.00. And I have no right to stay with them for 3 hours if there are 15 hours before my flight. And they told me - our rules have changed - read at the reception desk. I wonder how my husband, being in another country, will be able to read what is there at the reception desk. Moreover, the site has completely different information.
At the Business lounge reception:
“Passengers are invited to use the services of the Business lounge 3 hours before flight departure. Payment is valid for three hours. If a passenger wants to use the services of the Business lounge in advance, all payment is made upon entering the lounge.”
It’s unclear what’s what. I wonder if I have 4 hours before departure, will I be charged 2 visits?
If the rules really have changed, then why don’t Mastercard or LoungeKey warn their clients.
