    Nice little peaceful beach
Nice little beach bay with interesting rock formation at one end. We found this beach nice and peaceful compared to further down the the coast, enjoyed many hours here with only 1 seller on the beach. Easy enough to cross the road and find food and drink options

Modern art galleries, venue for folk music performance, tea lounge by the sea
Ancient vietnamese house by the sea transforms into classic modern art galleries, colorful canvas paintings, exhibitions about history of this places. Down to the sea, it’s walking path to Hon Chong, fairy stone ( outstanding shape) where yourists, visiyors touch the rock and then make a wish. Upthere next to the house, it’s a open air tea lounge to enjoy the sea and the “hon chong” .

    Come at sunset / sunrise
It's close to Nha Trang City centre and is affected by tourism. However it's attractive view for excellent photos. To avoid the crowd, you should come at sunset / sunrise, you won't regret it.

a giant five-finger imprint on the boulder
i visited this place two weeks ago when i had one day tour in Nha Trang. this is the first stop of my trip. after buying ticket, i entered a traditional building, then i had a seat there, to listen to traditional vietnamese music. after that i walked to the back of the building. stepping down lots of stairs, then reached Hon Chong beach. there are many rocks there. after lots of climbing, i saw a boulder which facing the ocean, on the boulder, there is a giant five-fingered hand on it. According to a folktale, long time ago, a giant man was fishing here, suddenly a giant fish swallowed the bait and pulled him away. The man tried to pull himself back, he used one hand holding the fishing-rod, and one hand pressing against the boulder, so he left his five-fingered imprint on it. it is the IG spot, many tourist taking pics with it. but be careful, the place is rather dangerous, don't stand at the edge of the rocks. besides this, there is another IG spot, before you reaching the five-finger imprint boulder, you will see two rocks standing upright with another big rock stuck in between that looks like a big stone gate.quite interesting. that time i visited Hon Chong, the weather very hot, so better prepare sunglasses and sunscreen, and avoid visiting here at noon time.

This place is destroyed by so many tourist busses. At the entrance to hon chong there is a water water sewer every few days it discharges raw sewage into the sea,the smell is awful and lasts days. Urine and human waste is clearly visible..it is disgusting. And hazardous to people swimming. Coral can be seen washed up on the beach as a result of chemicals and the sewage release ..this needs to stop.. people should not be allowed to swim in this area. It is dangerous

This is a commonly seen sea. It's a place you don't necessarily need to go during your busy schedule.
If you're renting a motorcycle, it's not a bad idea to experience the sea breeze as you pass by. Nha Trang sea is not that pretty. You can think of it as a normal East Sea sea.

This is a rocky outcrop off the end of the beach. It’s ok for a quick visit, but nothing particularly special. Can get busy with other tourists trying to get the perfect picture.

If you want rock this place has it...enormous granite boulders protruding into the ocean. Many options for photos amongst the rocks.
Has to be the best located coffee cafe in Nha Trang...sensational views over the ocean and islands. Coffee not 60,000-70,000 per glass but 18,000 VND per glass!
Has a small beach area as well.
Very quiet and not swamped with tourists-so relaxing, so peaceful, so tranquil.

It seems every tour of the area will include this as there’s really not much to see. Our private guide also took us here. It was packed with big noisy Chinese groups and also many Russians. We just caught the very end of a demonstration of traditional Vietnamese music and instruments. They could make so much more of this as we’d have loved to understand the history etc of the instruments but they all walked off. There’s a viewing platform to rocks where you will see dozens of Chinese tourists doing selfies surrounded by very polluted and smelly water. As always people were constantly trying to sell things to you.
