We offer a Half day cooking classes for visitors to Nha Trang at a cost of $24 USD per person. It is a great experience and a must do for someone looking for variety to their trip to Nha Trang and something a little different. It involves travelling to the local market in a cyclo, a guided tour of the marketplace, where people get involved in learning about the local food and buying the ingredients for your meals. You then return to the restaurant where you prepare 3 dishes as chosen by the guests and of course enjoy eating what you have prepared.

I gave a 5 star review, because I didn't want to lower your excellent rating, but we didn't actually take the cooking class. We only had one day in which we could take the class, but classes weren't offered that day. So I'm suggesting you...More

on the day that I attended the class, there's only two students! The overall experience was good but when the restaurant became busy, the teacher needed to help with the restaurant so she actually didn't devote a lot of time to us.

You could email the Lantern's cooking class and see if they would be willing. They were very flexible with us. I'm sure the cost would be more as they would have more transport and preparation costs.
