Simply amazing place! A huge statue of Buddha in full growth on the outskirts of the city. Silence and very few tourists. Nearby a pagoda and a cemetery under construction, there are monks. You can climb to the base of the statue, the entrance is open from the butt, do not forget to take off your shoes before you enter. There is a view of the cemetery, beautiful roofs of tombs, rice fields and mountains.

This is on top of a hill so expect a short climb up.

Take note of all the plastic dumped over the side of the stairs. Why do people not care about the earth?

Halfway up there’s a big reclining Buddha.

We got to the top and before you turn left to see the big white Buddha, there’s a pop-up restaurant just in front of a road. Down the hill here is where they are chucking all of their plastic rubbish. The government should make them clean it all up!

There’s a huge white Buddha with a small temple inside.

With a little stair climb, you'll reach the pagoda. A nice small place to visit giving that not many attractions yet in Nha Trang. Do beware of some women that hand you incense stick. They will demand for money once you take it.

This is a fantastic pagoda to visit. Take an umbrella if it looks like rain as there is not a lot of covered areas. There are a lot of stairs to get to the main Buddha statue but is worth the effort once you get there

Some kind of ceremony was taking place inside the foundation of the Buddha, which made the whole experience very spiritual. In the sunny weather, no one else but us, music in the background and gazing over the temples and tombstones behind the Buddha. Amazing!

It's an amazing site to check out. It might take some sweat to get to the top where the big Buddha figure is, but it's worth it. As well the view to the city is impressive.

Again, numbers varied but apparently 152 steps, ie 304 if you want to return ! Satisfied at ground level where you can enter the pagoda, if you comply with dress code, which of course Cunarders are intensely aware of !

the pagoda and lower grounds are nice. friendly staff working and peaceful place. up the stairs to the buddha it is a weed infested over grown what looks to be a dumping ground of construction debris. not sure if it is a work in progress but it took away from it.
