A must do on your itinerary . Absolutely would recommend this trip. We had a very knowledgeable guide Ms Hue or Lilly as we called her. Her historical knowledge is vast and very interesting, we learnt so much. Our day incorporated a walk around the local market to learn about the local delicacies, a boat trip along the Perfume River... More

My husband and I enjoyed our day trip with our guide, Ms. Hue. We had a leisurely boat ride down the river before arriving at Thuy Bieu which is a beautiful little village. You have your choice of taking a bike ride around the village or doing about an hour walk. We decided to do the walking tour and it... More

We had a nice day with Ms Hue. Our boat trip to Thuy Bieu was pleasant, then we had a walking tour around the village, visiting an incense stick maker and just taking in the village. Afterwards, we had a blind massage - very cool although the massage turned out to be a little rough for my wife who had... More

This review is not about a day trip but they also organise packs outside the river. We were doing it through our agency Asiatica travel. First a visit in the town by bycicle, then a foot massage and finally a nice lunch. It was a good experience.

We were taken from our hotel at Ha noi to Halon Bay where we joined a cruise. The "junk" as they called it, was 5* plus. The welcome, the crew, the atmosphere, the food, the rooms, the activities, every thing I can think of was spectacular. There are not enough words I can think of to praise this entire night... More

Our agent, Asiatica Travel, booked this cruise as part of our trip in Vietnam. The boat is nice looking and quite well equipped with hot water, comfortable mattress and air conditioner. We cruised downstream the river to some little villages where people all welcoming and sweet. We were told about their life, traditional handicraft techniques and even tried our hands... More

The Perfume River Emotion as part of our trip in Vietnam. Along the river, it has quite a few to see: Thien Mu Pagoda, local markets and ancient temples. The scenery remained almost the same from village to village, but I just loved being on water with cool morning breeze. We also took a cooking class in the evening: carving... More

We had two days for Hue and my wife did not want to spend all our time with citadel, tombs and ruins. We wanted something different and found the website of this charming cruise tour on Perfume River. Their boat (actually a sampan with four private, air-con cabins) was lovely and comfortable. It also carried bikes and half of the... More

We joined the cruise with two children, The tour was very interesting and relaxing with the biking and walking. We was surprised by the pleasant massage. We really love the cooking class and our children love it too because they can do it like adults. We did dishes by ourselves and it was a little bit difficult but we handled... More

Despite the rain we had a very pleasant stay on the Perfume River, visiting interesting sites: local temples, communal house, incense making family. We did enjoy the cooking class with the helpful and dynamic teacher. The boat is nice and we slept well. Thanks to the ship´s crew for their kindness.
