Guard would not let us in or take bribes. He said the park had new owners who were doing the place up and it was unsafe to let people in. We stayed to watch as many other tourists were turned away. This seems to be the norm now for this place.

Not really an abandoned park, more like a theatre and a dragon building. We were expecting a full scale theme park..however, still an interesting place with a creepy vibe so I would say worth a visit.

Couple of guys at the gate charging 20,000 to get in plus 10,000 for your motorbike. Don't really mind as it's not much and they need to make a living!

Not sure if it’s actually legal to come here but we rented a scooter to visit the temples, and on the way to the second one we visited this abandoned water park. It was seriously cool and felt really eerie walking around and up the dragon. There are also some pretty cool photo opportunities - we feel this is a must do!

NB - there was a local Vietnamese man riding round on a motorbike telling people it was dangerous and to only stay for 5 minutes. He was also trying to get people away from the water park. I asked if he worked there and he said no, so we kind of avoided him.

Absolutely loved it experience of a life time. If they’re not letting you in and you need details of how to get in, where to park etc. Message me on Instagram I can give you advice @saphbennett my video is also on there. Pretty hard to do but possible if you keep your mind in the right direction.

It was a fun little adventure. Nothing mind blowing but a genuinely nice little half day out. Didn't have to bribe anybody, but possibly because it was pouring with rain. Lots of tourists there, it is exactly what you expect it is... But it was fun :)

We hired a scooter and drove to the waterpark which is around 7km from Hue centre. We arrived and there were two security guards saying the park is closed and not safe and would not budge on this. This was at the main entrance gate. We were met with other tourists and just before the main gate is a dirt track so we walked about 15mins to get to the dragon. The security guard met us there on a scooter and said no closed. After some begging he let us in.. we did not pay anything although the google reviews suggest otherwise. Near the dragon there is a group camping and a lady selling drinks.. so obviously one way or another it is possible to get in. There were many other tourists there also taking photos and walking around. Nevertheless this is a very cool spot to visit. Would recommend going on the way to the tombs or vice versa.

This place was like nothing I have ever experienced before! You walked past a sign on the entrance that said “No Visitors” then we payed a guard money to let us into the park! When we got in, there was a very weird and creepy feeling to it, but it was amazing. The dragon (the old aquarium) is so spectacular to see and explore. The old waterslides are also really cool to walk around and spend so time at - 100% recommend this place!

We were hesitant to go here since we heard you couldn’t get in anymore but we had no real issues! We went up a little dirt track by the entrance, as we entered a guy on a moped did follow us and asked for money, we thought he was a guard so we gave him 50k and he drove off - looking back now we really don’t think he was a guard as we had to pay a security man who was driving round the park another 50k, so just be careful of people asking for money! Really cool place for photos and the whole park had a really eerie atmosphere! Maybe go early incase they stop letting people in and take bug spray!

This was one of the most exciting experiences since I started travelling 💖😊

Guards are watching the place, which makes it hard but not impossible to get in 😁

The Guards are persistent in their work, however after some Cat and Mouse 🐈🐭 Games will let you eventually in 👍

Not sure how much longer entry is possible, but it's defenetly worth a try 😁

Just be persistent and don't give up 😊💖👍
