i stayed in Hue three nights, this area close to where i stayed.i passed by it one night, unfortunately,it was a raining day, also, this area opened on weekend, from friday to sunday,so that day, i only saw some locals sitting on plastic stool and having food or beer in front of local restaurant or cafe. there are many pubs, bars, eateries, shops in this area, it should be very noisy and crowded.should come here on weekend. anyway, this is a place you can walk around, and doing some shopping, or having your dinner or drinking a bottle of beer, and watching passersby come and go……

The tour group I was with made a visit here on the way from the hotel to our dinner reservations at a restaurant on the banks of the Perfume River. The street was lively and entertaining, with large amount of people watching the Vietnam Men’s Soccer team blank Cambodia on TV.

This is an excellent place to get a meal of local Hue cuisine. So vibrant and lively with street music and a multicultural atmosphere. Many restaurants to choose from and a bar everywhere you turn. A must place to visit time and time again.

Music, colour, food, stalls, shops, people, great great vibe.We enjoyed our first walk around.Had a few snacks, had a chat and enjoyed the nightlife. Pubs were full of locals or Vietnamese tourists.

This is just another tourist street selling the usual stuff aimed at backpackers. Cheap booze, lots of restaurants, and shops. Nothing particularly amazing, but if you are in the area it's nicer to walk down than the busy roads with bikes on.

As the street is closed to the traffic in the evenings and turned into a walking street, you can stroll between the streets to see a different side of Hue. Because of all the bars, pubs that are influenced by western character (even the names) the street became nothing more than a tourist meeting center.

On Friday, Saturday, and Sunday nights, the city has closed-off three streets in the tourist district to traffic and created a walking street/night market area. Most of the area's restaurants, clubs, and other businesses set-up stalls and booths outside to sell their goods. There is street entertainment and for it's first three weekends, it has been incredibly busy. Especially awesome is the intersection of Vo Thi Sau and Chu Van An where young street performers dance and play contemporary music. Great vibe to this whole area.
