Walk through to take a the scene
It's a loud drinking and Party scene. Picked up a Banh Mi from a street cart and a beer from a shop at one end. With food and drink in hand I had a built in excuse to pass by a bar/club. Lots of people on the on the street ushering the public into their business. Sit and people watch at a place selling 20K beers. The music from the neighboring clubs with 80K beers is plenty loud enough

    The Street of good vibes
The uniqueness of Bui Vien Walking Street is the vibe. The music from the pubs, the positivity of people and luscious food menus will blow your mind for sure. I had a 10 days trip to Vietnam, and got the best food from this street. As an Indian, there are 3 or 4 Indian cuisine restaurants, But I choose authentic Vietnamese food from here, and it was so good. The only negative I felt that, Its a walking street, but lots of motorbikes and cars are passing through this road every time. It’s a bit annoying. Apart from this issue, this street got its own vibes. Go and feel it guys!

Walking street, Saigon. Backpacker district. 1400m walk in District 1
Bustling, more hype and lights than NYC Times Square. Except the absence of the big screen. So much neon lights, music, smokes, food, bars and plenty more. This is a designated walking street so when you book the grab car for pick up be cautious. The driver can only wait at the start or end of the street and so be clear on where the driver is to pick us up. More suited for the night life lovers. Music was loud and may not be suitable for everyone. Children may get overwhelmed.

    Nightlife Craziness
Crazy and vibrant place to visit in the evening. Recommend going down some of the little alleyways to taste some of the more local cuisine and enjoy a little peace after the frantic pace of Bui Vein Street. Well worth popping on the list to visit.

Party party party without the ' distractions'
Party street it is. Similar to khaosan road in Thailand. Totally different from Pattaya walking street. No hookers on the street although there are various services at the numerous massage parlours. Gets v crowded late at night. Beer can cost 20000 vnd in one place and 75000 just next door. Food is there but better choice in side streets. Quite safe walking around the area at night. Beware ' grab' drivers that aren't who may persuade you to take their taxi service then insist you pay 5x grab price. Only use taxi you book online through grab app.

    “western” street
Bui Vien street is so-called “Western Street” referring to its Western culture-orientated features. Bui Vien also crowded with backpackers, cuz there are many budget hotels located here. besides, there are many eateries around the street. you can sip a cup of coffee or have local food beside the street.it is also a nightlife tourist attraction, and an ideal venue for travellers and locals to come to eat and hang out. the walking street is full of fun and vitality, if you come to Saigon, i recommend this place to you, you should come at least once.

    Night Culture Street for Tourists
C ( 24.03.10 ) One of the nightlife streets in tourist attractions in Southeast Asia. Lots of pubs and bars, lots of tourists. It's a once-in-a-lifetime street, with a great night view with lights and lights.

Worth a visit to this street and keep in mind that it’s built for tourists
We visited to see what it was all about and found it very touristy and full of neon lights - hehe. It’s obviously somewhere you have to visit when in the city and it’s good to experience it. It’s crazy busy in the evening and made for tourists which takes away the authenticity. Still, we had a nice time there and stopped for a drink in one of the many bars offering ‘buy two, get one free’ offers. Worth a visit but I’d certainly suggest to eat somewhere outside of the street as it’s cheaper.

    Bui Vien St.
A somewhat unique experience perhaps in a similar vein to Pattaya's walking street but quite a bit 'tamer'. All can be had on Bui Vien St, quite literally with many Vietnamese 'delicacies' coming out after dark. Yeah, it's loud in your face and maybe even kinda hot, only issue perhaps is motos permitted and even an occasional auto, unlike Pattaya after dark. Beers fairly inexpensive, good food can be 'found', don't believe most folks are there for that.

Must visit for those wanting to party
Amazing place. Don’t get me wrong, you need to know what you’re getting into before you visit but if you’re out for a sesh/party it’s absolutely amazing. Be careful for pickpockets and moped users snatching your phone, but if you’re wary and have basic common sense this shouldn’t be an issue. Fantastic place

An amazing variety of venues from flash bars to simple old Saigon style street bars sitting on the foot path. The more flashing lights and louder the music the more you will pay. Look for the signs Bia Saigon for 20k and that's about the money

We made a special trip to this area and unfortunately was very dissapointed. Lots of bars but so loud music !!! . Please note we are not old fuddies but at one stage my wife could not hear me speaking . Walking street - NO. You have to watch out for cars and 1000's of motor bikes. The prices in this street are expensive compared to else where , but we hit Happy hours 5 - 7 pm . After 2 hours we had enough and looked for somewhere less noisey and bright .

Don’t go there. Hassled by Restaurant staff and street hawkers , Music is way to loud, can’t conduct a conversation. Went to Hotel 96 Restaurant and were overcharged with extra drinks and different drinks from what was ordered. When pointed out the bill was wrong the owner became very nasty and aggressive demanding payment of inflated bill. Later talking to an expat said it was a common occurrence along with multiple billing.
It has fallen a long way since I was previously there Pre Covid.

Bui Vien Walking Street is a loud, bustling area filled with bars and eateries offering a diverse range of food. While I don’t drink or smoke, I couldn’t help but notice that you can grab super cheap beers and drinks, with vendors offering them constantly.

The atmosphere is energetic, and you'll be invited to sit in various clubs featuring live performances, whether it's dancing or singing. While this scene isn’t my vibe, if you enjoy partying and nightlife, you’ll definitely appreciate what Bui Vien has to offer. It's a great spot to experience the local nightlife and enjoy the lively ambiance!

The most horrifying experience ever. The “secutiry” guys push you to their bar. I was walking there with my bf and they try to push or pull you to their bar. Very crowded and really loud, my heart couldnt cope with this music competition - who plays it louder. Never ever going back…

This street is very busy, very loud and a bright party area with bars competing for customers with their very loud music, bright lights & staff trying to encourage you into their bars. It’s a mad crazy place with dancers, entertainers & hawkers trying to sell their wares. If you like to party then it’s probably the place to be, although more expensive than other places. Lots of drinking and people inhaling laughing gas from balloons so definitely not a place for children. Sad to see local children being used to sell items & trying to entertain by ‘fire breathing’.. though this was obviously not linked to the bars. I enjoyed sitting down with a beer and people watching, but once was enough!

This street is buzzing! We loved soaking up the energy, checking out the artistic murals, and indulging in delicious (and cheap!) Vietnamese food. Bui Vien’s central location makes it the perfect place to experience HCMC’s nightlife.

Great night life with many clubs/bars. Hookahs available. Girl dancers are in front of each club. Most music is electronic music. Not much hip hop. Music could be really loud. Could turn down some for the virgin ears. Overall, great vibe if you're looking for some night life or hang out with close friends. Be aware of the locals who may pick pocket as you walk down the street.

Street for nightlife lol. I feel like this street is safe more than khaosan road, bangkok because of they don’t have marijuana and everything here is very cheap. I went to the hair of the dog club is good, cheap beer and shot of tequila lol. Must to visit but don’t expect too much because is not different from any nightlife in Bangkok.
