The inside is not open during renovations and the outside is not spectacular. It's near the War Remnants museum, so a short walk. Beware of rickshaw drivers in this area, the prices are not what they state and they are aggressive.

Went there for English Sunday mass at 930am. Considering the funds are limited in keeping the cathedral in good shape, I think the priest has done a good job. Well maintained by Vietnam standards.

Covered in scaffolding and closed to visitors at the time of writing (Dec 17). Worth walking past to or from the Post Office.

Well we did visti on Sunday 3 of December 2017 and it was under reconstruction and not only that because of the mass they did not want to let us in the whole day. So you do not see too much really. A big disappointment.

If you are in the area it’s interesting to see a prime example of French colonial architecture at its best.
