Entrance is cheap and if you are a student of Vietnamese history or Ho Chi Min, it is a good resource. We're not and did not find it particularly interesting

I went with two friends to the museum as we were really interested in finding out more about Ho Chi Minh, however we found it quite disappointing. The price is good, but there isnt a clear layout to the museum and we didn't feel like we learnt a lot from the visit. The museum is made up mostly of photos... More

While this museum is small, it is a must visit on a trip to Ho Chi Minh City. There are lots of pictures and plenty of English text.

If not because we are going to take ferry to Vung Tau, I don even know there is such a museum in Ho Chi Minh City. This museum is next to Saigon Port, it exhibits the life of Mr Ho Chi Minh, mainly presented in photos. Very dull and boring. No 3D, No special effect, No aircon. No short films.... More

Place is interesting - looks like an old grand house converted into a museum. Costs 15000 VTD to enter, plus 5000 more if you wish to take pictures. You will learn a lot of interesting facts about HCM and Vietnam (like how there is a full section on commerce, but few, if any, on music or folk culture). Some artifacts... More

Strongly recommended for those who want to know more about President Ho Chi Minh. It also has a good view to the river.

Small museum but still worth a look at only 15,000 dong. Plenty of old artefacts and a great display of past currencies. Picture of the burning monk.

Visited this museum as it was quite close to reunification palace. Had to pay an admission fee. Museum was quite small, on two floors. Not a lot of people there. Had displays on various aspects of Vietnamese history, cultures, trade. It was a bit hot and stuffy as well. I would visit if you have some time to kill and... More
