There are lots of photos of the man, his house, his things and quotes from him but there is little actual history of his life, what he did instead you have to grab pieces of information here and there. I did find 2 documents of interest in room 1 upstairs from his time in France, after that the water dispenser... More

There are lots of photos and various individuals covered beyond Ho Chi Minh but it is just photos with 'one liners' underneath. As another reviewer stated (disappointed I didn't read the reviews first) this museum could do with a good curator then they could attract more visitors and even increase the entrance price - it's only 10,000 VND

As another reviewer has mentioned they could do with a good curator who could organise the exhibits (basically lots of photographs) into some semblance of order as they all seem a bit haphazard. You do still get a sense of the man though and the building itself and grounds are a nice respite from the busy roads outside and you... More

Great start but end so so. Slight feeling that many pictures were just printed out and copied and then vulgarly exposed on the wall to decorate than to really tell a story.. Room dispositions are originally uncommon from an Eastern point of view. [start by room 2 then 1 then 4 and 3 ?] haha! Still pleasant to roam around... More

Entrance is cheap and if you are a student of Vietnamese history or Ho Chi Min, it is a good resource. We're not and did not find it particularly interesting

Stopped as part of our tour, after approx 20 minutes requested our guide to proceed to next scheduled stop. Small, a few items of interest but not a must visit destination in HCM City

I went with two friends to the museum as we were really interested in finding out more about Ho Chi Minh, however we found it quite disappointing. The price is good, but there isnt a clear layout to the museum and we didn't feel like we learnt a lot from the visit. The museum is made up mostly of photos... More

While this museum is small, it is a must visit on a trip to Ho Chi Minh City. There are lots of pictures and plenty of English text.

If not because we are going to take ferry to Vung Tau, I don even know there is such a museum in Ho Chi Minh City. This museum is next to Saigon Port, it exhibits the life of Mr Ho Chi Minh, mainly presented in photos. Very dull and boring. No 3D, No special effect, No aircon. No short films.... More

Place is interesting - looks like an old grand house converted into a museum. Costs 15000 VTD to enter, plus 5000 more if you wish to take pictures. You will learn a lot of interesting facts about HCM and Vietnam (like how there is a full section on commerce, but few, if any, on music or folk culture). Some artifacts... More
