Maybe I'm being harsh, but it was literally a walk in, have a quick look and then leave. The lonely planet bigged it up a lot more. Perks were that it was free to go in. And you can buy postcards and everything to post...More

This is definitely a must see in Ho Chi Minh. The inside is simply stunning and you really don't want to miss it ;)

Worth a visit to take photos of the internal and external architecture. Have old style wooden phone booths. For people above 50s appears nostalgic. Great to take some photos while "making a phone call". Also have usual souvenir shops. Just across street from the Notre...More

It's a landmark. The architecture is french colonial and they've got some interesting artwork, notably a giant portrait of Ho Chi Minh that is good for photos or selfies. Other than that, it's a small, working post office. Get some stamps. Skip the souvenir shop....More

Very impressive building reminded me of the NY Train Station. The interior was really old school and a delight to walk around!

Very interesting remnant during French colonial times of Vietnam. We just bumped into the facade while visiting Notre Dame Cathedral. Yes, located only next door to each other. Don't miss the square!

We visited this place as part of our tour. However, it was quite boring as there were also many people going around running their normal errands in the post office. We actually felt a bit out of place there as tourists. Even the souvenirs were not...More
