The Jazz is great & Tran Manh Tuan, the owner & star Sax player, is probably the best all around jazz artist in SE Asia. His playing and his arrangements are superbly entertaining. I bring all visitors to the club and they all enjoy themselves. You simply need to enjoy beautiful music, you don't need to be a fan of... More

We thoroughly enjoyed the performances at this jazz club. We weren't expecting much, but were greatly surprised! Definitely worth going to if you are in town. Don't miss it. Good service by the bartenders and waiters, too.

My word what a mistake it was going here, it was about as fulfilling as Ronnie Scotts cloakroom. Left to be abandoned upstairs with no service what so ever and subjected too, in no uncertain terms, the tortured cat band. All for a 100k cover charge each. "Drink up love, we're going"

Very enjoyable couple of hours listening to the house band render some classic tunes. The lead singer (pictured) is the owner and lived in the USA for many years. Talented singer and multi instrument musician. Ho Chi Min is cheap for westerners, so even with a cover this is a small price to pay for great live music. Go and... More

We were blown away by what we experienced at SaxnArt. Tran Manh Tuan is an incredible musician and you will not be disappointed. His passion shines through and even if you're not familiar with jazz, you are guaranteed a good time. The $5 entry is worth every cent for the beautiful jazz you will enjoy. You would pay a lot... We spent the last days of our Vietnam trip in Ho Chi Minh City and accidentaly came across the Sax and Art Jazz club. We walked past it and decided to take a look inside. We payed about 4 euro to go inside. While there were only a few guests inside it was amazing. The music was really, really good.... More

Great place to listen to some live music and grab a couple of drinks! prices for drinks are slightly high, but worthwhile for anyone looking for a good night of music.

tran manh tuan is a sax master and his orchestra is definitely a good company (kudos to piano). they don't charge any hidden extras. they explicitly showed us the music charge even before we ordered anything. we had a fun night full of music just for usd25 (including drinks for two). yes it's quite expensive for vietnam, but it's a... Musicians were great, didn't quite have the right ingredients for the drinks, could do with a sound engineer and a quadraphonic sound system for the really odd shaped space - I guess you work with what you get here. A valiant effort but Ronnie Scott's it is not.

We entered this place and checked out the menu. At first glance the drinks here seemed very expensive for Saigon but we ordered 2 drinks anyway.... then when we got the bill there was a 100,000 extra cover charge per person. This is a SCAM. If they charge a cover charge it should be done at the entrance before entering,... More
