I took this cooking class with my wife & our friend, and we all had a wonderful time. We learned how to make 3 dishes -- a salad, a soup, and spring rolls. We chose not to attend the optional morning trip to the market to pick out the ingredients but did not feel like we missed much. The class... More

I had a great time doing the half-day cooking class with Saigon Cooking Class at Hoa Tuc. The class was fast-paced and we managed to get through three separate dishes and eat them over the course of three hours..and a bonus passionfruit flan dessert that was given to us at the end. The chef was very knowledgable and explained a... More

We met Hoa at the markets and she gave us a great tour of sources for her cooking. It was a wonderful commentary. Then back to the restaurant for our lessons. We made spring rolls, salads, stir fries and noodle towers. She made us laugh and she was also a wonderful teacher. We were given the recipes to take home,... More

We had fun. It is a lovely tour with a market visit, everything is explained very calmly and in a most charming manner. The rooms are gorgeous, the service is extraordinary, it is very professional and clean, from bathrooms to dining room to kitchen. The chef is very very patient and her English is great. But in the end, it... More

I went into this not sure what to expect. I'd seen some cooking class demos elsewhere in the city, and it all seemed a bit touristy, but the Saigon Cooking Class is a fully immersed, get to see where it comes from, hands on experience that was not only fun, but truly educational. We met our guide at the market... More

We went in a group of six. First spent 1 hour at the market buying veggies, fruit and herbs. Then we were taken by taxi to the cooking school. It was really busy cooking and eating. We had so much fun and we were amazed about our cooking skills! 100% recommendation. A must do in Saigon.

This was educational and fun. The instructor was great and we did the market tour which I enjoyed greatly. Definitely check it out especially is you are in HCMC during a hot day the class is well air conditioned but the market tour would be very warm
