- Anh Arma'anHo Chi Minh City, Vietnam4,493 contributionsPanoramic views of Saigon from Landmark 81Skyview on levels 79-81 of Landmark 81 provides panoramic viewing of Saigon. The scenery is pretty breathtaking over the three viewing floors and it is wonderful taking in the sheer scale of Saigon. We opted for the basic 300,000 VND tickets. If you would like to get a similar view without perhaps the full scale, you can always opt to go up to the level 75 cafe to get some views without paying the above viewing fee.Visited October 2023Travelled with friendsWritten 16 October 2023
- roger-zhZurich, Switzerland120 contributionsShould be visited when in Ho Chi MinhAstonishing views from the top of Vietnam. there is plenty of space to explore the whole 360 degree view. one star less due to the fact there are no reasonable FnB options on top, except for a quite decent Japanese restaurant.Visited December 2023Travelled as a coupleWritten 15 December 2023
- Tony L6 contributionsOverpriced$120AUD for a family of four! Seriously?? It’s one of those things that at the end of a month in Vietnam you just feel like you’re getting ripped off. We had lunch & coffee in the building and at only 5 years old the building is falling apart. We had coffee on one of the lower decks and the decking boards were all broken and uneven. Not sure you’d say it’s a well built structure.Visited December 2023Travelled with familyWritten 1 January 2024
- KrestenHinton, Canada123 contributionsGreat view !Was about $15 cdn per person for just basic access . No crowd at all , stunning views of the city ( little sad to see the pollution though) , didn’t do any of the restaurants or VR stuff as we decided to eat in the food court type are at mall in the first few floors , some cool but pricey shopping if that’s your interest . Would recommend this .Visited January 2024Travelled as a coupleWritten 26 January 2024
- BrakiWorldTravelerBelgrade, Serbia19,438 contributionsNice dislocated skyscraperLandmark 81 is the tallest edifice in HCMC and all Vietnam. However, I don't find it's location that good for climbing the observation deck, as it's away from downtown area, further north along the Saigon river, built among residential blocks. At night it is beautifully illuminated, changing colors and displaying Vietnamese flag. Better (and cheaper) option is climbing the Bitexco Tower in downtown.Visited January 2024Travelled with familyWritten 28 January 2024

This was possible as i had a local English speaking GF. Advance booking is a must, as its usually fully booked most evenings. - Kenneth YPhuket, Thailand829 contributionsGood and not so goodThe hotel is new . Tallest building in Vietnam . Stunning view given that I was assigned to stay very high floor . Lounge is at level 71 . The staff were good . Polite and best hospitality. Rosexie in particular and Brian were all very good. Rosexie took initiative to research places of interest for me and wrote me the details on pieces of papers . Had a misunderstanding with a customer over application of seat in the lounge on 22 May . The manager on duty Ms Camille’s handling of the case was disappointed and not up to my expectation. Overall it was ok but improvement neededVisited May 2024Travelled soloWritten 26 May 2024
- Carrie H3 contributionsCity SkylineThis sky-view trip up see beautiful views of Ho Chi Minh City. The price was about $10 per person. It was spectacular! You have an opportunity to be harnessed while walking around a 360 degree look out tower. There is also a restaurant and coffee shop in the top of this incredible building.Visited June 2024Travelled with familyWritten 14 June 2024
- GM TranVietnam525 contributionsNot ImpressiveLandmark 81 might not be as impressive or towering as expected. While it is a significant skyscraper, its appearance and height may not meet everyone's expectations. It’s worth a visit, but it may not be as striking as some other iconic landmarks.Visited October 2023Travelled soloWritten 22 August 2024

I'm a big kid and love nothing better that going to the top of the tallest buildings in all the cities I visit. I can't say this was a complete let down as it is a great view.
This place is a possible example of what's to come for Ho Chi Minh and its tourists over the coming years. Im more down beat than positive in that respect.
Pros: Good view, no waiting but that's because of the terrible corona virus.
Cons: At almost £27 ($35) it's a complete rip off. The locals won't be doing this so we have a "cleansing" for the new money. You go via 3 levels, 79 -81, very oddly only the 79th floor affords a 360o walk around. The other 2 stop you in your tracks. ( making room for expensive but empty eateries)
£5 ($7) for your green screen background photo!
You might as well go to the ice bar on the74th floor at less than half the price or a little more for a cocktail included. Oddly the staff were not too upbeat either but that may be because of the current situation.
It would be nice if the owners could do the decent thing and reduce prices and especially for the decent people of Vietnam.

I vivisted Vietnam fro the second time in Novemebr 2019, I stayed with friends in Ho Chi Minh City, for the first few day I saty out side the main city a place called Go Vap which is near the Airport.
I stayed with my friend at her house, on my first day my friends son took me to where he lived and he lives in an appartment in the Landmark building, what a place this was being built when I visited Vietnam in 2016.
The area is very westernised, not alot of traffic on the roads, a shopping centre under the landmark buliding and the first 3 floors of the buliding. There are restuarants all around with differnet cusines.
Still cheap to eat in this area but not as cheap as other areas of ho Chi minh city.
The building is beautiful inside and outside, there is a Large park across the road which goes down to the river.
Well worth a visit if you are going to Ho Chi Minh City.

Tickets were very reasonably priced for such an attraction. The observation deck was on the 79th, 80th, and 81st floors, and offered a spectacular view of the city. Best time to go is at dusk or during the evenings, as the lights in HCMC make for a spectacular sight over 1200 ft above ground level.

Went here with my Vietnamese wife and niece and her daughter. Quite an awesome shopping mall at the base, with all the top designer brands, very modern shops but all with designer prices too!
Some have said it's expensive to go to the top and I guess it is on the expensive side but I wouldn't have missed it. Doesn't take long to get to the top and when you do....wow what a view. At the base, you can see how tall the apartment blocks are but this building dwarfs everything. Fantastic view and you can't take in how high you are.
I went on the platform, where you need to put on their red suit. Not too sure why but understand why they attach you to the safety bar and a good safety feature actually. I was persuaded, reluctantly to try the VR headset. It was very unnerving, have to say and climbing up the outside and looking down, was so realistic. Then you get to the top and have to stand on this platform at the edge and my legs were shaking, it was so real! A voice in my ear told me I was going to jump off and skydive and my thought was: 'Are you having a laugh??' However, you have no choice and off you go and what an experience. My hands were still shaking afterwards.
After all that experience, we went for some cocktails and a little food. Yes, again quite expensive but I say, go with the flow and go for it. Awesome cocktails by the way.
Would certainly recommend a visit here and it is an experience. I'd do it again.

Got up early to visit this skyscraper on last day of trip as all online information showed it opened at 8.30 but was told by one of the security staff in the building that it doesn't open until 10.30?? Even the mall didn't open until 9.30 and it was about 8.45am when we arrived. Managed to get into the mall via the downstairs entrance as the mall was shortly due to open but still no signs of anyone at the visitor desk for the tower so had to leave.
