I've been to the mall many times. In itself, the mall is pretty good, but the parking situation is pathetic. It is a constant battle to find anywhere that will actually allow you to park. The neighbouring Vinhomes building's residents understandably have parking priority, but this frequently results in parking lots simply turning non -residents away at the gate. Today I drove for 30 minutes to 5 different parking lots. Terrible planning. Avoid if possible.

I had some time for myself and decided to see the new Science Fiction movie The Creator (Ke Kien Tao) with Tiếng Việt subtitles at CGV in Landmark. I hoped to see this in either IMAX or Gold Class but none of those were available in the morning when I wanted to see it, so I bought a ticket for the normal cinema.

The seat in the cinema was not very comfortable. As it was the first screening for the day there were very few customers so I tried a few different seats and all were equally uncomfortable. This still did not detract from the movie which was really enjoyable. I have viewed other movies in Gold Class where the seats are super comfortable. I guess you really do get what you pay for.

My other point is that going to see a movie in a normal cinema is so cheap in Vietnam. It only cost $6.- Australian (95,000 VND). I think friends in Vietnam would be shocked to find out that the same ticket in an equivalent quality cinema in Sydney would cost approximately 470,000 VND! The seats though would be more comfortable!

This review is for Vincom Landmark 81 Shopping Mall.

This is a huge shopping mall at Landmark 81 that offers a great place to shop. Many boutique shops on fashion, jewelry, sporting and many restaurants and eateries etc, cover the 5th storey building. There's also a big supermarket at the basement and also there's the counter booth for one to purchase tickets to the skyview.

And at the basement, there's a ice skating ring and it's so cool to see one here!

We were there on a weekday and the place was rather quiet and empty but it's a breeze to shop around!

This is a good looking building and reminded me of the Burj Khalifa, however I refused to pay the admission fee to gain access to the observation deck. I have been to taller buildings in the world, as such I didn’t feel the need to view from the top.

The base of the building has a shopping mall called Vincom Center, but other than that, there is a photo opportunity of Landmark 81 from across the street at the park. The height of the building is 461m and opened in July of 2018.

800,000 VND. This is absolutely criminal. And you cannot find that information online, until you actually get there. That is the same price as 2 nights in a hotel room. You can get the same views landing into HCM airport from the plane window. PATHETIC, and GREEDY.👎👎👎👎👎👎

I was there on Sunday afternoon for a cup of hot latte and the waiter told me sell finish. What kind of coffee house No hot latte? The manager can tell me sell finish. Better don’t open the shop. If it is Sunday must prepare more coffee bean. I still prefer the Pasteur road at Runam coffeehouse. The hot latte is the best! But it close off. Very sad😭. The hot latte is the best to drink! Must try! The cakes are fresh too.

The centre is still new and quiet on a weekday visit. Shopping is not that great. There is food court in the lower ground with various food franchises and ice skating venue.

After hearing about this new building, how high it was and the fact you can go to the top, the 81st floor, I decided to go and check it out. You can even go out on the balcony, but if you want to climb the stairs, but you will need to borrow protective clothing, readily available. You can see HCMC for miles from above.
