A truly impressive pagoda, set 7 stories high (making it one of the highest, and largest, in the city), built in 1953 & located in the middle of suburbia. Many colourful, oversized religious figures are to be found here, along a beautiful Buddha statue at its centre. Additionally, you will find a shrine on the second floor, housing numerous miniature Buddha statues.

This is typical of many of the pagodas found throughout the area. It's several stories high, has the usual statues of Buddah inside, and the odor of incense is heavy. People are usually coming and going, praying and lighting the incense sticks. Another typical trademark of these pagados are the vendors and beggers outside but are not that persistent if one declines to buy or give something.

Pagoda is best to view at night as fill with lighting and worshipers. The pagoda is tall and fill with lighting at night times, really nice for photographer to take picture. Apart from that there is a lot of worshipers came here to do blessing. This pagoda is at District 10 (Quan 10), so the surrounding is crowded and noisy. But not to worry, when you enter this pagoda area, is quite and calm full!

This pagoda mainly is Buddhist practice, and local people came here for praying.

Actually, i feel is nice to drop by for photo shot and short period of visit. Worth it to drop by!

It's worth stopping by if you're in the area, but not much to see on its own. I went during the day, so maybe it's more impressive to see at night.

Having read all reviews I have to respect the different point of views: for me this is the worst that Vietnam can offer. A temple without any charm, a 7 storey building made of concrete, and old means probably not 10 years ago. Dirty renovation, no soul, well you understand that I do not get why you should spend your time going there when you could go to Cholon to visit beautiful temples. But seeing the reviews it sees people find interest, so I can only give my perspective on this.

Beautiful Pagoda that has seven storeys to its building, can be seen from afar, lovely white statue at the front adds to the place, very decorative and it's also free entry.
I would recommend it highly to visit.

This pagoda stays in 3/2 street. It is rather near the center of the city. It is smaller than Vinh Nghiem Pagoda but I prefer it.This pagoda is especially cool at night with many lights. I think it is one of the most beautiful pagoda of Ho Chi Minh City. But you should come at night.

The Vietnam Quoc Tu Pagoda is quite a wonderful sight. Its huge tower impressed me. Inside the temple you will find the typical Buddhist statues and an altar.

It is an interesting place for the history, but after you see some real nice temples somewhere else nothing really something that you make you excited! Make sure you have a tour guide!
