The park is generally neat and tidy and has an interesting sculpture in the centre. There is some basic play equipment for children and outdoor gym equipment a few locals were using. There’s some rides, however they looked like they were not in use and had seen better days. There’s a small coffee shop where you can have a seat under cover in the event of rain.

In 1983 the old European massiges / cemetery in Ho Chi Minh City, Vietnam was cleared and a new park was created on the cleared ground. I went there looking for evidence, anything that could refer back to the park's previous use. Unfortunately I found nothing at all, not even an information plaque. I found this strange as usually the history of a particular site would be of natural interest to visitors, but not here. The park itself is okay, with exercise areas (not being used) and some shaded sections with seating. However, large parts of the park were open and had no features, apart from the large Socialist Realist sculpture erected at the centre of the park.
I found what seemed to be an abandoned children's playground, rusting away but nothing in the way of amenities such as cafe's etc. I had read about green papaya salad's etc and thought that lunch here was a possibility but I couldn't find anything inside the park itself. However, It does create a nice refuge from the insane traffic on a hot day.

Surrounded on all sides by the busy and stressful roads that make up the city centre, this is a nice and decently sized park but not exactly what you’d call tranquil. Worth a visit if you need a break and a sit down.

This is a lovely park for a 15-minute stroll to escape the all-so-hectic streets of Ho Chi Minh to a more serene place.

I have been visiting this park for exercise and mainly playing badminton over the last nine years. Many people are at the park to walk, do aerobics, exercise, dancing, kung fu, badminton, shuttle Kicking?? or just having a coffee or snack at the shop in the park. Some children's activities as well and plenty of space to run and play. Many types of exercise machines or equipment. Ábout 12 linemarked badminton courts but need to be with a group or bring your own net.The level of play varies between courts and between the players in each group. Strangers are welcomed to join and share the fun. There are plenty of trees and shaded areas as well for those visiting during the day when there is not much activity due to the heat in the open areas. Clean and maintained toilets are at diagonal corners of the park. Many festivals and trade fairs and events are also held in this park and are worth a look when on.

Le Van Tam Park is a nice, scenic area centrally located in Ho Chi Minh City. Large in side, this park offers walking/running paths and a fountain which landmarks the center of the park. The landscaping is pristine and the park is clean.
This park has numerous gazebos scattered about, great for picnicking or family gatherings.
This is your perfect destination for a Sunday afternoon stroll.

This is a really nice park where many regulars converge in the evenings to play and exercise. During the morning and day you will find many people using the space to practice their dancing, martial arts or playing their musical instruments. There is a really nice vibe about this park where people are left to their own devises to do whatever they choose to do. There's a small cafe, some children's activities and a small swimming facility also. There's also a very well used and busy gym area that is used by all the locals. A park that many people have a routine to walk throughout the day.

We have visited this park a few times and always enjoy just sitting on one of the benches, people and bird watching. Lots of cute squirrels to also look at. There is a cafe but we have not tried that yet. A pool and a few rides to entertain kids, which is great for families on the weekend.

Bonjour,
Est-ce que quelqu'un saurait s'il est possible de retrouver des traces d'anciennes tombes dans cet ancien cimetière ?
Merci !
