Play! café is an indoor play space that is both fun for children, and enjoyable for parents. A variety of toys encourages creativity and imaginative play and children 10 and under can spend hours at play. The cafe offers an assortment of light menu options including pizza, sandwiches, and snacks, as well as fresh fruit juices, tea, and Oriberry Vietnamese fair trade coffee. Play! café also organizes fun activities every weekend, as well as workshops for parents, special events, and birthday parties.

I love what Play! Cafe is all about .. spending time with your kids. I had the pleasure of spending some time there last year and loved how each room was so different and played to the different things each kid might be interested in. I also loved how it was things you could do with your child, not just your child playing by themselves. I particularly loved the tree fort on the second floor. They also have some tasty treats and is a welcomed escape from the heat on some days.

Hello to the future where chic coffee shops are also a place you bring your children...and you both enjoy it! This is a place that is probably a bit ahead of it's time, but certainly not ahead of it's need. 4 stories tall, it is predominantly a space for parents to connect with their children, while experiencing educational perspective on life and great coffee & snacks...together. Really, it has to be seen to be fully appreciated.
Visitors who have previous experiences at children's museums in other parts of the world will find the atmosphere familiar. However, it is a step up in ambiance, cleanliness, and class from what you expect of this type of place, especially in Southeast Asia. Sorry, but that's the candid truth. The proprietors have clearly invested a lot of time and personal pride in presentation, and it shows.
It is completely price at a level that is attainable for anyone living in Hanoi, but it is also clearly geared toward an international client group. Located near the expat neighborhood of Westlake, it is within easy reach for families with kids living abroad, and you'll appreciate the menu's which are printed in multiple common languages.
Besides having play areas on at least three of the four floors, there is also a meeting room on one floor that is available for events or parties. Really, there are too many things to list in one review, but as a parent, I cannot more highly recommend giving Play! Cafe a try on a hot afternoon. Oh! & kids...don't forget to bring your parents & take them home when you leave.

I recently visited Play Cafe and was very impressed with it's cleanliness and fun atmosphere. The toys are safe and will be sure to create learning in children. The different themed floors are well done and the bathroom facilities are clean and modern. On top of all of this the coffee and muffins were excellent!

Is this cafe still open? I looked for it on Ngo Bai khanh today.
