BARGAIN (???) Shopping for kids , and niknaks.. souvenirs etc!
Friends and I happened to walk past on way to restaurant in Hang Bac ( st)..
We had time.. walked up one side( stalls in middle of road),and
Back the other side!.. 20+ mins..??
Depends on what one is interested in..we just quickly looked,
no interest in the wares on display.. and kept on walking..
Wife said .. just like HK Temple St.. and Ladies Market!
U get what U pay for!!

This is the place to come for shoes and puffy jackets, as well as other assorted clothing, during the day it can get crazy, however worth the effort, however, if you are there on the weekends it comes alive at night (market) as the block the street, perfect to just browse and walk along.

Ok for a short visit and walk about. Nothing special and lots of shops and folks looking to make deals. If you need something to buy fine, but is it worth the visit otherwise

Fantastic shoe and clothes shops. Prices so much better than the markets in HCMC. Quality the same. Lovely service, Do haggle but be polite and respectful

The trip was awesome. It actually turned out that there were more tourists than we had anticipated. The people are friendly and they have a variety of local foods....My wife and I particularly enjoyed noodles and duck 🙂

A few shoe shops - not a lot and two of the larger ones were owned by the same people…saw the same salespersons and asked…some choices for running shoes (my guess is they were made in Vietnam) and not everything had lots of sizes. Am fortunately a small 37 hence did not leave totally disappointed. Price was fair considering - not a high end brand hence probably just made in the country.

I think if you know what kind of shoe you want and aren’t too fussy about a particular brand you could find what you want at a decent price. Not much bargaining possible - as I mentioned there were not that many different shops .

Nothing really stood out on Hang Dau Street. Like most tourist streets in the Old Quarter, it was just another street.

A busy street in the evening and night. A number of shops selling local stuff and you will surely find a good bargain.

I've walked this street many times, and it is nothing to write home about. I found it very average compared to the rest of the city and wouldnt go there again. If you have lots of time to spare, then go, but its not a neccessary.
