    Terrific customer service
Terrific customer service. Just wandered to this location on a rainy day. Was told upfront and shown photo that it was too foggy to see anything from the observation deck. 10/10 for honesty and keeping customer at top of mind. As an aside, Lotte department store was a nice place to visit on a rainy day.

    Lotte observatory Deck
Good Place to visit when in Hanoi. Lots of spots to click photos. Observatory is situated at the 65th floor and it gives a full 360 degree view of Hanoi. Place is well maintained and can easily spend about an hour and a half here.

    Expensive but worth it
This is the best place for views over Hanoi. It is quite expensive to go up relative to Vietnam prices, but once you are up there there is quite a lot to do up there and you could easily spend an hour or two up there if you wanted to. Firstly there are the various view points with some interesting gimmicks - the glass floor, the big heart, the angel wings, which all make for some memorable photos. Then then there are various other things to do, VR rides, and art gallery, small exhibitions, a cafe and bar etc. So it is a comfortable place to spend some time. It is open til late so recommend coming in the evening to catch both the sunset and the city lights at night.

My experience at the Lotte observation deck
The observation deck is well-maintained and equipped with modern facilities, including a glass walkway and a virtual reality parachute experience. The glass walkway is a highlight of the observation deck, giving me and my girlfriend the feeling of walking on air. The virtual reality parachute experience allows visitors to experience the thrill of skydiving from a height of 270 meters (as I remembered)

    Fun viewing deck
This was a fun stop on our trip around Hanoi. It’s a bit out of the city so get a grab here for a few dong. Worth the visit. Glass floor to stand on and look down. Great views over the city. They had some VR experiences for those who wanted to try. Bar was expensive as you’d expect. Shopping mall below.

Get up there and have a fun time!
We brought out tickets downstairs - bottom floor, quick and easy and straight into the lift. Zoomed right up to the top and out we went. What a view and so high up. We walked right around looking at all the different landscapes. There are glass floors to walk on. Angel wings to get your pic taken with. Also a massive heart shape, coloured bright red to get your pic taken in and on the floor another heart. We had a fun time up there. Panels etc to tell you what is outside. After our time up there we whizzed back down and went up to the food market. Great food supermarket to get all your want.

Peaceful place over the crowded city
We visited there after sunset. It is worth buying an entrance ticket combined with a drink. We liked it so much that we stayed for 1-2 more drinks and enjoyed the city. It's especially good that it's open for a long time.

Though the building is marvellous, the management is poor. I reached around 10.45pm and was denied entry though i had already tickets purchased. Official entry is allowed until 11pm. On a bit argument was allowed in,but to my disappointment most of the attractions lighting were off. Also glasses on the main deck were not clean. How do you expect to enjoy the view with dirty glasses!
It has a bar in north wing where no body came to attend us nor were asked any help. On sitting onto a sofa, suddenly a lady came and she was like she would allow us to sit only if we order anything. Anyways for me its a waste of time as the purpose of coming there wasnt fruitful to the level i was expecting. Also coming from old quarter to back is expensive as you end up paying twice in grab fees as compared to the entrance fees of lotte.

All cities must have one, and South Korean conglomerate Lotte has ensured that Hanoi gets its observation deck. The building itself is not particularly impressive, nor is the relatively mild height of 267m and entrance fees of VND230,000. But Lotte’s attempt to make up for these is by offering visitors an acrophobic experience and unique photo opportunity with 2 heart-dropping glass platforms 65 floors above street level. The night view is just mediocre and unlike other observation decks where night photos can be taken if you place your phone against the glass, this is disappointingly impossible here, possibly due to the thickness and angle of the glass.

Think we just got super unlucky with the weather and so the view was rubbish.
Price to enter for foreigners is not cheap and so if it is smoggy when you get up there you don't have much to do. There is seating and bars dotted around, we sat on a chair and got asked to move because we were not buying anything - seemed a cheek as the place was deserted and we had paid the hefty entrance fee to get up there so hardly free loading

It only costs 200,000 vnd to get to the top (about 9usd). The observation deck is on the 65th floor and if the day is clear, than you'll be able to see most of Hanoi from above. But on the day I went it was smoggy, so you couldn't see much, which probably explains why there were hardly any other people up there. The glass floor made the visit at least somewhat fun, even on a bad weather day.

Great view, sure, but if you want to take pictures you should go during the day. They have gigantic bright lights on, which reflect in every window. But the reflection is probably als a problem during the day. Entrance is ca. 8.50, which is too expensive for what you get.
