Monstrous tower - you get smoggy views of an uninspiring Hanoi vista at the top. There isn’t very much to actually do in here. Restaurants are franchises and a lot more expensive than what you get in the city center.

A journey of almost an hour from the old quarter in bad traffic. Save this neighbourhood for the business trip and stay near west lake or the old quarter.

My office is in this building and the views are amazing. I tried to find vegetarian food options and only found that Redcap Pizza served vegetarian. Coffee places are nice.

Keangnam - the name says it all, its mostly for Koreans or asian business people. The building is mainly empty after some previous corruption issues with the pervious parkson shopping closure. Note this building is out of the wat, far from the centre and will be a waste of time for tourists. If you want to have a better observation deck, wait till 5pm and go to Lotte hanoi building roof top bar.

I went here this evening with my girlfriend, well where do I start. We were the only ones on the observation deck ( if that's what they want to call it) so obviously we expected that we would enjoy our visit, that was not the case. After paying nearly 500k entrance fee, we we're less than impressed.
1.The windows are filthy so you can't see out of them.
2.
You reflect in the Windows when you try to take a picture.
3. Everything in the gallery was switched off, other than the observation deck everything else was closed.
Seeing as over 50% of the building was closed, I asked for a partial refund and was laughed at.
The worst observation deck we've ever been to, lotte center is 100 times better.

I went here about 3 months ago to tour Vietnam, and it was great! The sky view was so fresh, and also, I liked the service that they changed pillows if we want other kinds of it. Also, the breakfast was better than I thought. It was more delicious for me than other hotels. You can also eat pho that is similar as some other pho restaurants. As the tower says, the highest floor was 72F. There’s also some Fitness room for you to exercise.

The Calidas is offered as a hotel and serviced suites. The design of the hotel is gastly with a very unorganised feel to it. I received a corporate rate which still put it above the likes of Pullman hotel etc.

Getting around between the hotel floors, ground and level 7 gym/pool area is very long winded with long waits for the lift to cover other floor levels in the building. The pool area is on level 7 with a strange arrangement to get changed and walk through the building to the pool. The pool itself was large but for some reason had only 4 loungers to relax on. The sauna/jaquzzi feature was dissapointing and quite offputting. It was nude only. This is the 21st century and bobbing around with a bunch of naked men in the jacuzzi is not an enjoyable experience.

The room unfortauntely had a damp/smokey smell to it and there was burn marks on the table where the previousguest had been smoking in a non smoking room.

Downstairs on level 1 there was another pool although not very appealing again. The cafe had very poor quality food and there was a lack of shops or eating options.

Would not recommend staying here and would instead suggest staying at one fo the international hotels at a cheaper price.

We visited this morning and after Reading positive reviews and after spending 170000 dong on a taxi and 180000dong each entrance fee we feel truly cheated. I have to wonder if any of the previous reviews are real?
This attraction is the 72nd floor of an office block that is mainly empty space we wandered around looking out the window at the city which we could have done from any high local building. There are a handful of information boards and a couple of models that have buttons to switch on for information but they don't work. There is a small shop selling art in which a staff member was sitting on a couch arguing with someone on the phone. The 3D section was just some turned off TV screens with no working equipment or glasses. The 5D cinema was also not working but two young ladies also sat on their phones were there for what reason we couldn't decide. then there is a picture gallery section were you can stand next to the picture to take a photo as if you are part of the picture. this was perhaps the most interesting part but definitely not a real attraction. The nicest person we saw was the lonely cafe girl who was quite polite. So all in all a huge empty space on a high floor that for some reason someon thinks it's acceptable to charge an entry fee for!
When we went back downstairs and requested to speak to the manager he refused to come down to see us and after arguing with us on the phone he eventually agreed to give us half our money back. We were still very unhappy as we had wasted our precious time in Hanoi and taxi money. My suggestion to the management is get rid of the host of lazy staff sitting on their phones and shut down!

This is Vietnam tallest building called Keangnam Tower or Sky 72 Observation. This is a little way out (about 8Km) from the tourist district (Old Quarter), but well worth a visit, especially because you can also visit the Vietnam national museum as it is 1km away from the tower. Once you arrive you may be a bit confused because (June-July 2015) the new shopping area on the second floor has been closed down possible due to a lack of customers, so the place looks empty. But never fear you will be able to find the lifts to get to the observation deck on the 72nd floor and as soon as you do you will see the cashier who will charge you about 180,000 dong. The lift is super fast. The day we were there it had rained the day before so the sky was clear and blue and the view was amazing. We had a coffee at the cafe (it was OK) then looked at the replicas of the several local buildings including this one. Telescopes are free to use which are very good at zooming in to all the far away places. Then we played in the trick eye art great for photos, we laughed a lot then had a look at the souvenir shop (no sales person) and the 5D theater (which you have to pay extra for). The whole 2 or 3 hours we were there, there was not another person in the place except the girls at the coffee shop and a couple selling tickets (or not selling tickets) to the 5D theater. Just how I like my attractions not packed by falang.

Great views, very quiet, not compare with Lotte tower, a litle bit far from old quarter, but we enjoyed when we were here,

Still a well worth visit with the great view from the highest building in Vietnam. But, beside that, there was no any other things that worth mention or experience
