Our tour with Thao was excellent, and it felt like a friend showing us around their home town. Thao took her time answering questions and telling us about history and what life is like for locals. We got to visit a typical alley house in the old quarter to see how a lot of Hanoians live, and then walk around... More

Nikita's French Quarter tour is an absolute delight. After giving us a thorough Vietnam history lesson over tea, she took us to three different parts of the city to show us how the French left a lasting impression on the cityscape. Along the way, she patiently answered all our questions about life in Hanoi for the Vietnamese people. She hailed... More

We took the french quarter tour with Nikita yesterday. We started with a sit down at a traditional street cafe and over a cup of tea and traditional treat Nikita took us over Hanoi's recent history, putting the french quarter's construction into perspective. From there we embarked on a tour that covered a lot of ground over the various parts... More

My wife and I just finished doing the cooking class, and it was amazing!! We were lucky enough to be the only 2 people in the class today, so it was essentially a private lesson - but at group rates! Score! Our cooking instructor Viń was amazing. She was very knowledgable, friendly, informative, and fun to be around. We even... More

After eating lots of amazing food during our vietnam trip we decided to do a cooking class so we can recreate it when we get home but also a great rainy day activity. It was a small group class, only 4 of us, and was really hands on as we all got involved with every aspect of the preparation and... More

This was booked as a three hour tour but as a result of all our questions the tour lasted longer than that. Our tour guide was very informative and patient and spoke excellent English. Despite it being a drizzly day ( she called it fluffy rain!) we learnt a lot about Hanoi and Vietnamese history and she introduced us to... More

Nikita took us on the Old Quarter your on March 23. Great tour showing the parts of the city you wouldn't usually find by yourself. Would recommend this if you are interested in getting off the beaten track. Thanks Nikita - Sarah and Leigh.

To see parts of foodie Hanoi you wouldn't do yourself; well worth the experience. Street food with the locals, hidden coffee shops and the best cooking school!

Excellent cooking class, professional english speaking instructors, and informative market tour. Highly recommend Hidden Hanoi for a great experience. We selected the street food menu and made the Bun Cha and spring rolls. Couldn't have been tastier and everything was so well laid out and organized for fast cooking and prep. The market tour was very informative--not the nicest market... More

We booked the Hidden Hanoi Street Food tour and were not disappointed! Our tour guide, Nikita was fun, friendly, and full of information about the local area. She took us to an amazing food stall for Bun Cha and -wow- it was delicious!! I'm still dreaming about it. She introduced us to Vietnamese coffee and now I don't know why... More
