I visited several tailors during my week in Hanoi and this one was by far the most professional. Clean space, lovely fabric, and really kind tailor! She’s not cheap by any means, but in my 10 years of living in Asia I’d say you get what you pay for and in this case that’s very very true! I am so happy with my purchase. :)

I recently did a short 5 day trip to Hanoi. One of the aims of this trip was to get some clothes tailored as I had heard that the quality of tailored clothes was good here. I was so fortunate to select Hoa Fashion House from my research. This is a 3rd generation, family run business with the most modest of shop fronts just on the fringe of the city centre. It’s well worth the trip to get beautifully tailored clothes made. They have a fairly extensive array of materials to choose from & the fabrics are of a high quality, ranging from Vietnamese silks, cottons, linens, chiffons… I had only a limited time to get my blouses & dresses done. Ms Tan Huyen Nguyen who now runs this family business, meticulously did my measurements & suggested styles to suit me. I know I was stressing them by my short time frame but they were so accommodating in trying to get my clothes sewn in 4 days. I had about 8 items done & had 2 fittings. I felt really bad at the last fitting as they had asked one of their seamstresses to stay late just to do the final adjustments as I was flying off the next morning. I was most impressed with the final products & even ordered further outfits to be sewn & posted to me back home. I’ve since received the items & couldn’t be happier. They also have some of their own designs that can be obtained off the rack. Ms Tan & her wonderful team go to great lengths to accommodate & appease their customers. I am definitely returning to Hoa Fashion & would highly recommend them to anyone wanting personalized, beautifully tailored clothes. A big thank you to this gem of a place.

I was referred to this tailor by a colleague who lived in Hanoi for several years. I had two pant suits and two dresses made and they all turned out great. The suits were based on one that I saw on the Trip Advisor photos for this shop. I brought a dress that I liked as a model and just picked out the fabrics for the new dresses. The owner is meticulous about her work and speaks English fluently. The service and quality are excellent - you can tell when you come for the fitting. She accepts credit cards, but not AmexEx (like most shops here).
