When we went we didn't really know what to expect. It's definitely something worth going to see. It's a cheap hour activity for the family and friends

Beware: tourist trap. Even though the show might be good, we couldn't see more than 5 minutes : Booked placement not respected. Split from my wife with a rude word : «hey guy it's just for 50 minutes, you can make it» Organisation and concern...More

Don't come to Hanoi without seeing puppets. Very clever, easy to understand and funny. Seating a little cramped but worth it

I don't think this belongs in the top things to see / do in Hanoi. It's fairly cheap, and kills an hour, so if you have kids it wouldn't be so bad. It's some singing, some instruments, and puppets splashing around in water. I did...More

I thought I'd give this a shot as I was walking past anyway and it was only 100k dong. The stage scenery and props were great and full of details, music and puppet choreography worked well most of the time. There wasn't exactly a consistent...More

We went to this thinking it would be a bit ho-hum. It was awesome and very funny. The orchestra was good too, a woman playing a stringed instrument with a tall vibrato thing was fascinating. The people working the puppets are very skilled. Good value...More

Hi, yes that's true, though it didn't seem to stop most of the audience. I think if you elect to pay the small fee (50,000vnd for still, more for video) you get preferential seating on front row.
