The art of water puppets is interesting. After watching the show, the kids had so many questions about how this happened or how that happened in the show. It’s enjoyable but don’t forget to get the program otherwise you might be a little confused.

This was booked for us as part of a package at our hotel and we were surprised how much we enjoyed it. Besides the initial chaos at entrance everything was well done. Music is wonderful and puppets so colourful and clever. We had some really...More

We enjoyed this for 2 reasons. 1. The fact that it's traditional Vietnamese and 2. Because we have little kids. If i were an adult withouts kids i may have been a little underwhelmed. My kids loved it. Still, I'm glad to say that i...More

Great little show accompanied but what I assume is traditional music. Whatever it is, I liked it a lot. The cats were broken up into stories which the puppets acted out in dance. Extremely unique to Vietnam, and certainly worth doing.

At the beginning there is a musical instrument played, don’t know what’s it’s called, plucked more than played, and it is hauntingly beautiful. Fantastic introduction to a quirky puppet show telling the story of village life, in water with very clever puppetry. Bright, colourful and...More

We were unsure about the water puppet show but the boys absolutely loved it. They understood all the characters and loved the animals and the music. Kids see things differently to us, worth the visit just for their enjoyment and reaction and the discussion afterwards.

The performance was a 50 minute explosion of magical puppetry. Delightful puppets, wonderfully colourful and mesmerising to watch. Live musicians. Suitable for all ages. I have to say my husband and I weren't sure what the story was but that didn't detract from our overall...More

Something to do once you are in Hanoi, show is about 50 minutes long. Cost 100,000 Dong per person. Colourful and talented showmanship. Good thing to pass time with.
