I am always thankful for smoker friendly restaurants and bars, though I've been trying to quit for some time. The food was good and the service was acceptable.

The are is teeming with western themed restaurants, take advantage also of visiting Trấn Quốc Pagoda if your in the area. Admission is free, but be sure to wear appropriate clothes as it is an active shrine.

I enjoy staying near Westlake and take advantage of the many VN and Western restaurants that surround the lake, many with alfresco dining. The area is easy to find and makes for a pleasant visit.

West lake is way bigger than Hoan Kiem. You will see local people fishing and jogging. The temple at the shore of the lake is wonderful.
