The outdoor exhibit was fascinating. Many different versions of how the people live(d). Definitely worth the entrance fee.

It's out of the way, and that's ok. I enjoyed the lack of tour groups. I took bus 14 from the Hoan Kiem lake area for 7000 dong. A great place for kids. There's a nice park across the street where you could eat a...More

A must-see anthropology museum to learn about Vietnam and its cultures and ethnic groups. For souvenir hunters, there is a Craft Link store on site that sells sustainable, living wage crafts from throughout the country.

Very interesting to learn about the Vietnamese culture. The long houses were great to see inside and to see how the locals live. Would recommend.

This museum provides a look at the various ethnic groups that have formed Vietnam. Inside there are 2 levels of displays showing ancient and modern cultural items. i.e.. pottery, crossbows, weavings. The best treat is outside, several traditional village houses, gardens and burial buildings.
