Traffic is blocked on the weekend and you'll enjoy strolling around the lake taking in the people, sights and sounds of Hanoi. On my Sunday morning walk, I had many friendly conversations with students and youth who were eager to practice English. What a great...More

My favorite park in Hanoi and a must visit. On weekends they close off the streets around it and everyone comes out to mingle and explore. Jog in the morning and see the beauty at night. Enjoy!

Stayed not too far away from here and strolled around it a few times. Plenty of benches to sit and enjoy the tranquility whilst watching the world go by. We were lucky enough to watch locals releasing some fair sized fish into the lake.

Everyone who comes to Hanoi comes here. To see the turtles. I wasn’t lucky enough to see anything apart from dead fish. But it’s a lovely walk. My pictures aren’t great due to it being very foggy

Once you were able to see swimming turtles in this lake but now you only see dead fish and trash. But the lake is nice for a walk.

Started off by having a nice coffee in a restaurant overlooking the lake. Then went for a lake walk. It was a lovely way to spend our first day in Haoi.

I live in Hanoi and, although of course you have to use normal common sense in protecting your valuables, this is probably one of the safest cities in Asia. And the Hoan Kiem Lake at night is beautiful. Would recommend... More
