About
This night market on the edge of West Lake starts up around 2 a.m., when wholesalers arrive to claim their spots with piles of roses and chrysanthemums, and lasts until sunrise. Quang Ba is especially worth a visit during Tet, when flowers are needed for the many new year's celebrations.

If you are a lover of beautiful flowers, this is a must visit. The flower market is not as big as I expect. We took a Grab from Old quarters at 5am and reached in under 15 min. Its past the busy time, and just as well - the vendors are not annoyed with us taking pictures. Just note that there are 2 drop off points, in front and end of the market. Just take a picture to send the driver. You will be tempted to buy a bouquet or 2 when browsing around - which I did. As I was flying off in a few hours, I hand carried 4 bouquets back. Glad that I am still enjoying a part of Vietnam while the roses last. :)

You can find most of flower kinds planted locally in the North of Vietnam here. Price negotiation is a must, and it is fun. Worth a visit!

There are flowers everywhere. They start getting flowers around 10 pm and start to set up the flower stalls. The mopeds come by and fill stacks and stacks onto to them or deliver as many. It is a blast to watch all the activity.

What an array of beautiful flowers, so many different types, sold in bulk so stacks and stacks of color. Dodging motorbikes filled with flowers off to they city. Must be there at 5am, so much excitement, activity, energy. I loved it. My guide surprised me a red rose in honor of International Women’s Day!

Market starts at around 10pm, easy to reach by cab from the Old Quarter (too far to walk!). Not huge but nice to see all the different flowers for sale!

I passed by this market during a walking tour of the Old Quarters. I was amazed by the abundance of different varieties of flowers and how cheap the flowers are sold. Its a very nice market to visit if you love flowers.

We left our hotel at 5 am, getting to the market some 15 mins later, you were amazed to see all the activity going on. The flowers were beautiful and it was amazing to see the fab packaging. Well worth getting up so early

I have seen plenty of Asia's flower markets but this one is not open from 11am throughout the day. You must be an early bird and go in the dark. Also, a way out of the old quarter, so only go if you're prepared to grab there and back.
