Had a wonderful time on board cruise. There won't be any sea sickness since the cruise sail very slowly. Smooth sailing while enjoying the view of Halong Bay. Worth the try eventhough it's just for 1 night stay.

Halong Bay is beautiful, well preserved, and clean. However overnight cruise is not recommended because the cruise facilities are not good, mosquitos, cockroaches, damp linens, musky smells, and poor selections of food on board.

Has travel time decreased from Hanoi with new highway? Also i believe there is a cruise boat that is closer to Hanoi than most of the other tours.

The journey from Hanoi to halong bay still takes around 3 1/2 hours, any boat that sails from nearer will mean a longer stay on that boat as the travel by car is much quicker. The journey from Hanoi to halong bay tends to... More

Hi, I am enquiring about booking a day and night trip on a cruise to halong bay for this coming summer. I am traveling with one other person and we are unsure of the best way to go about booking our trip to get the best value regarding boat, food and cabins? Also I saw on here some options of staying in a hotel on the island as the boat can be boring, is this the better option or what do you all think. All feedback is greatly appreciated. Thanks

The one night stay on the boat is a great option. The food is good and whilst the ships are not luxury they are great for one night. A hotel would not provide you with the experience of the bay. There are plenty of companies... More

Can you help sort everything out . we are a party of 3 adults. Can you suggest a family suite with 2 beds on the best cruise for the money?
