Meeting real locals who are happy to show you around the city, as well as tell you about the real life of the modern Vietnamese people is a great experience. My girlfriend and I really enjoyed our day with our two guides; Khac and 'Lala'! Would really recommend contacting not HanoiKids to organise something whilst in Hanoi.

We visited the Temple of Literature, Old Quarter, a park, a bookstore, ice cream, and had dinner with our tour guide, Bihn. She was amazing, friendly, and fun. We definitely saw, did and learned things we wouldn't have otherwise. Must do.

My mother and I did two half day tours with HanoiKids on our first day in Hanoi (and Vietnam). Trang and Hieu were both wonderful hosts! We learned so much that was useful for the rest of our trip, not the least was how to cross the street! Without our guide at the temple of literature we would not understood... More

We scheduled a day tour with Hanoi kids and were paired with April and Ha who were absolutely wonderful. They knew so much about the history of Hanoi that we would not be able to learn quickly on our own. My family originated from Hanoi and April was kind enough to take us by my great grandparents old house, which... More

Our guide was really friendly and knowledgeable. He told us many interesting things about sites we visited as well as about the way of life in Vietnam. We ended the perfect tour with very unique taste of Egg Coffee, Hanoi specialty :-)

By a stroke of massive luck, I discovered HanoiKids online last minute before arriving in Hanoi with my parents and fiance...Fortunately they were super responsive to my request for a tour and we were promptly met in our hotel by our lovely guides Linh and Anh. They took us on a really interesting orientation of the bustling city, looking out... More

Thank you HanoiKids for a great orientation to Hanoi City. We had a lovely afternoon with our guide Olivia. She introduced us to the local street food at the old quarters. She showed us how to cross the roads & overcome the crazy traffic! Every first time visitor to Hanoi will definitely benefit from getting a local guide from Hanoikids!... More

Our tour guides Tung and Quyen so knowledgeable and passionate about Vietnam history and were only to pleased to share the information and culture of the country. This was a fantastic way to be introduced to Hanoi and Vietnam with these young people.

Trang & Khiem are the type of guides where everyone love to meet! - Someone with a passion for their city, a particular expertise but most importantly a story to tell. You got to choose yourself where you wanted to visit instead of just following a strict routine which I thought was great! A really nice tour that really helped... More

We got our booking confirmed a day before our arrival for our first day afternoon tour. Xeu(?) and Kim met us at the hotel and we discussed about our interests. We covered Old quarter lanes, Dong Xuan Market, Hoan Kiem Lake and French Quarter by walk in less than 4 hours..Since we had arrived in Hanoi on that day and... More
