It is a nice old church and I only happened on it because I had intended to go to the 11:30 AM mass at St. Joseph's Cathedral which is in French. Having an earlier mass and being in English made this a good option.

I believe this church has been renovated not long ago. I was there on a Sunday and the church was open to visit. Very good stained glass windows. Across the road is gthe North Gate of the citadel also worth a visit

A few minutes of walk from the old quarter, you can find this French inspired church. I researched and found out that this was the venue where Catholic and Protestant faithfuls did a joint worship service during former President George W. Bush's official visit in 2006.

We're Christian, but Protestant. When we reached the door a lady asked, "Catholic?". We said "Christian". We were then denied access.

the staff were kind enough to open the store for me which was closed while I was there. they sold me rosaries which cost next to nothing, and even took them to the priest so he would bless them for me. i really appreciate them!

Nice church architecture, but only if you are nearby (not worth making special trip)

We happened to pass by this place, so took photos along the way.

This is a Roman Catholic Church and originally named Church of Martyrs. Built in 1932 by the French, the design is an eclectic mix of French and Vietnamese architecture.
