The market starts at 7pm and block traffic from using it. The place is converted to be place for many activities. It covers a big area from Hoan Kiem Lake towards the railway track.

At the weekend this street is closed off to traffic and stalls selling all kinds of merchandise are set up. We spent a good hour wandering the length of the market. Haggling is an absolute must. Offer 50% of the asking price to start the...More

Really nice markets with lost of variety. There are both fake items and original items such as paintings. you are able to barter with the sellers to get more reasonable prices, really interesting place to visit

The night market in Hanoi is only on the weekend, Friday - Sunday, 7pm-11pm. It’s one long strip of stalls in the middle of the road selling various things. One of the best things to experience in Hanoi.

you can absolutely found some bargain here, cheap clothes or even electronic devices. Crowded, hustle and noisy, not a place for everyone but an interesting experience though.

Coming from BKK I found nothing appealing in this market. Walked around it for 10 minutes and left. If it is your 1st time in SEA give it a go.

I personally love the hustle and bustle of these markets - with the added fun of true Vietnamese bartering. Start bidding at 50% less than they ask for, and you can normally complete with a discount of about 30-40% off their price. Enjoy the bars...More

If you need cheap inflight carrier urgently, night market is the place for you. BigC market is twice more expensive than night market when it comes to carriers.

I've been to many markets while travelling around Asia, and this was one of the worse. Crowded, scooters/motorbikes still riding down at speed even though the road is closed. The produce also isn't that great on the market - I wouldn't waste your time, to...More

It will depend on your size . If you are a westerner and you are bigger than a women’s size 12 or a men’s med to large you won’t get them at the markets. If you are under this size you will pay anything from 100,000 vnd up... More
