It's a bit of a climb up some steep steps but anyone of average health will do it easily. Inside the caves are lots of limestone features lit by flood lights of different colours. Not particularly claustrophobic - lots of room inside. You probably wouldn't...More

Unlike many other caves that I have visited, this cave remains natural in its color. Many others turned all kinds of kitschy neon nights on to highlight the caves. It has a contra productive result. The safety measure is also very well done. It is quite...More

Easy walk to enjoy the wonders of the limestone caves. Well-illuminated to showcase the naturally formed caverns. Can get quite crowded and noisy since it is the most famous cave in Halong Bay.

We enjoyed the cave but it was extremely busy. Lots of tours seemed to arrive at the same time which made for slow progress. If you can get past the crowds, it is well worth the visit.

Visited the cave on a wet Sunday on 11/11/18. Probably, Sunday is not a good time. It was packed with people. The route to the cave was one way. If you do not intend to climb the countless steps or so to reach the cave,...More

Went here as part of two night tour on board a cruise. Lots of stairs to climb but once inside it is stunning. Pathways and lighting well planned. Lots of stalactites and stalagmites. Dry when we were and cooler than outside. Well worth the climb.
