The journey is better than the destination

The latest train timetable is here. I bought the soft seat tickets, but got the VIP seat in the first cart :D I guess it depends on the amount of the people that day.

It's a nice place but didn't felt like a Pagoda...maybe it was too much over the top. If your goal is to see all the Pagoda in Dalat then why not.

Despite of touristy place it is, Linh Phuoc Pagoda must be in your list when travelling around Da Lat. This is a significant pagoda made by pieces of china, and I admired the consistency, patience and heartffulness of the builders. Next to the pagoda is Quan Am temple and underneath is The Palace of Underworld for visiting. I usually visit... More

The decor here is amazing - everything made of recycled glass! There's a fair bit to walk around, you can go all the way to the top of the pagoda and you can ring the bell which is fun. Underneath the main pagoda is 'hell' which I think might be quite frightening for young children. Unfortunately there's no explanations in... More

There are a few parts to this temple. The underground depicts hell. The above ground depicts heaven I guess. Very nice Kwan Yin. Really worth the visit, and I am not the religious type either.

The detail is unbelievable, the carvings stunning. We spent around 40 minutes here and loved it. A must do while in Dalat!

The pagoda is pretty big. Walls made out of beer glasses. There's a downstairs furniture and ghost house. But the main attraction is the main pagoda with the main Buddha. Do ring the bell!!

It is very interesting to look like a broken ceramic made a cleverly decorated wall. You can also see a few different places. You can write my prayer on the paper, then put it on a huge bell, and then press the doorbell. I climbed the pagoda and saw a pretty nice view from the top of the hill.
