Fabulous island if you like peace and quiet. Definitely off the beaten track with nothing but nature.

Didn't leave our resort "TreeHouse Villas", but absolutely loved out stay here. Fabulous kayaking and lovely people. We were there in the rainy season, but it was fine, mostly raining at night. Easy 40 minute trip from the mainland.

Spent 5 days at Koh Yao Yai Village resort in May 2018. The resorts and villages on the island are quite spread out making transport essential unless you enjoy very long walks in hot humid weather. When we visited the only bar/restaurant within walking distance...More

If you are traveling to Koh Yao Yai, you must go and eat at Manee Seafood. The food is one of the best. The taste is amazing, the best yellow curry crab ever!!! And there is Wi-Fi
