Coral Island's Banana Beach and Long Beach provide everything that can be desired on a day excursion to a pristine tropical island with stunning beach scenery, virgin rain forest backdrop, good reef snorkeling (Banana Beach only) and full menu of active and passive water sports. Banana Beach is more quiet and laid back, actually the beach lounges are under natural shade, modern clean amenities and of 5 star standard of restaurant and service. The design of all buildings is amazingWe even barge in fresh water for our guest's to wash the salt off before heading back to the resort.Nice touch for the ladies! Long Beach is a 800 meter long white sand Beach with several of the biggest watersports companies in Thailand which cater for all looking for an active day swimming, basic snorkeling, SASUBA Hookah Diving,Try Scuba Diving, Sea Walker, Parasailing (old beach take-of style), Banana Boat rides. All water sports are available at Banana Beach as well as coral viewing clear kayaks, however the active sports are operated far away from the beach thereby maintaining the tropical beach relaxed ambience. Summary: Banana Beach: The day trip is slightly higher in price, 5 star in service, quality of activities, 5 star restaurant, 5 star amenities, 5 star speedboats, 4 star coral reef and water conditions. from 2,300 baht each.( Banana Beach Coral Island is nominated for "Best water sports day-trip" and "Best speed boat day trip" in Phuket in Thailand Tourism Awards" Long Beach : Budget price day trip, fun for the action seekers, a little busy for those looking for a quiet beach. Water sports is of same price as Banana Beach however you may to queue for turns and the standard is rated 3 star.

Excellent service by Nikorn tour. Just only 15-20 minutes away from Chalong pier. Over there, u will find yourself relaxing under coconut trees and water was so clear. The lunch buffet was standard. There was a small bar for selling beers and fruit shake. The price was acceptable. This tour will provide you with beach chairs, snorkeling equipment and towel.... More

This is a coral island but it is not a deserted one. The early morning boat drops you amongst the sun loungers and bars. It's all there for you. So use your imagination if you want to go all Robinson Crusoe because you will not be left for long and there will be no time to contemplate your fate. No... More

So out of Phi Phi, Maya,Khai, Patong beaches this was my favorite. I know Similan are supposedly the best but 2 hours by smelly speedboat there and back wasn't worth it. Here only 15 min. Maybe it was just the day but it was not crazy busy. The mid section was more, but choose to go further down and it's... More

Snorkeling right off the beach is fantastic. Water is warm and clear. There are a lot of people so be prepared to share.

Coral Island, whilst fairly busy and full of tourists, is well worth a visit. A range of activities are available or just soak up the sun on the beach. It is worth the 20 minute boat trip.

Our island trip lunch was held in this island. Lots of tourists and overpriced banana boat ride, parasailing, etc. Not a place to hang out for long for sure.

The island itself was quite pretty. There was adequate food for lunch. The water was a nice temperature. They're the good things. We picked it for the activities. There was absolutely nothing to look at, except the occasional fish. Very little cora, mostly dead. For the scuba diving they stayed in the swimming area which was a waste of time... More

I don't even know where to begin. Very poor customer service, the resort was overbooked so we were moved to the managers own room - not quite the superior room we were expecting. We got a better room for the next night but that wasn't still very nice. Room was also full of hungry moscuitos. Very poor service at the... More

the only reason that I gave 2 points is about the sea and location of Coral Island, but about the resort staff and accomodation was very bad: no polite and kind way! Also the accomodation is not resort one! so if you want go there just go in the morning and come back in the afternoon!

Very good for snorkeling as compared to phi phi island. Basically beach for various water activities like banana boat, sea walking, scuba diving, para sailing etc. Booked scuba diving but was disappointed with the tour. Better to do at phi phi island as the instructor are professional unlike here done by local Thai people who don't have much idea regarding... More
