Fantastic day with our friendly and funny teacher Yung. We were collected from our hotel in the morning before meeting our teacher and venturing to the local market. Yung taught use about the local produce and spices available as well as explaining substitutes we can use when we get back home. Yung took us though a step by step approach... More

We spent a great morning with Pat and her helpers. First a very informative visit to the markets. Then to learn to cook Thai style and then enjoy the meal in her lovely dining room. My husband and I shared the experience with three other people which was great.

First stop was a local market, not to purchase produce but to learn about the different produce used in Thai food. I found this experience to be very informative and thoroughly enjoyed it. Next stop the cooking school and you soon learn its all going to be a hands on experience. Teacher was very clear and concise in her instructions... More

Pat was fantastic! She was a very competent teacher who showed us the food markets first which were very interesting. She then explained and helped us cook and create each of our salads, soups and courses. It was really worth the effort and a great experience!

It is a half day course, you visit a small local market that is not overwhelming and learn lots about the local food. Then you go to pat's home where Jung taught us how to cook a feast. Her two young helpers are a delight, the whole thing had a lovely feel and the food was delicious. I am going... More

I was a little disappointed that making curry paste wasn't included in the school - the advice was it was easier to get at the Market - that is only if you live in countries where you can get it from the Market.

Originally i didn't really want to do a cooking class while on holidays but so glad I did. The tour of the local market was extremely interesting and informative.
